Using lamps with copper ballast will have longer life than an electronic ballast.
@ superbsite- change the ballast to a branded one. @ Sanket- Dont misguide anymore. |

Mark the pins in the lamp's holder as 1,2,3 and 4. In the choke as A and B. Now connect A and 1,connect 2 and 3 with starter in between. Connect phase to B and neutral to 4. Very simple. |

Ballast's are completely different for T12 and T5 lamps. Dont ever try this.
@ Jack86 He was asking for T5HO lamps. And you referring him with regard to T12 lamps. Moreover one can power 2 no's 20W T12 lamps or 2no's of 18W T8 lamp with a normal 40 W choke. |
