 Guys,

 I  need  Brine  Shrimp  eggs  or  Artemia  Salina  cyst  to  feed  my  Baby  Goldie  fries.  I  enquired  in  Gulmarg,  its  pretty  expensive  (imported  one).

 Let  me  know,  if  we  have  any  local  aquaculturist  or  fisheries  supplying  the  same.

 once  i  heard  that  few  aqua  suppliers  from  tuticorin  and  Cochin  do  supply  the  same  and  also  rates  are  very  cheap.

 please  let  me  know.  if  you  know  any  contacts.

 regards
 Naren

 I  bought  them  from  pet  planet,  shivaji  nagar.   Again  it  was  costly  and  imported.   He  charged  me  around  XXXrs  for  a  tube  of  eggs.   But,  they  just  didnt  hatch  :-(

 I  am  not  sure  if  the  fault  is  with  the  eggs  or  with  my  procedure.   I  tried  different  salt  concentration,  and  even  tried  decapsulating  them,  waiting  for  more  time  etc  etc.   No  luck.   Could  it  be  because  of  our  bad  water  in  our  apartment  ?

 I  tried  another  pack  of  eggs  from  the  same  shop.   Met  with  the  same  fate.   Now  I  am  about  to  order  from  india  pet  store  (I  found  this  is  one  other  thread  in  IAH.)   Any  advice  on  hatching  brine  shimp  in  bangalore  weather  would  be  greatly  appreciated.   I  completely  lost  my  angel  batch.   I  dont  want  to  loose  them  again  :-(

 Prices  not  allowed  on  the  forum,  please  use  PM  for  discussing  prices  -  Moderator:  Hayath

 @Melchi

 As  you  mentioned,  Imported  BrineShrimph  eggs  are  very  expensive.  I  am  already  having  Sanfrancisco  Bay  Brand  Shrimphery  Kit  which  i  got  it  from  US.  they  also  provided  with  BS  eggs.  Hatch  rate  is  too  gud.  i  used  them  for  my  Goldie  fries  and  also  i  could  see  the  difference  in  growth  after  started  feeding  BBS.  Now  its  almost  about  get  over,  so  i  need  brineShrimph  eggs.

 try  to  have  200Ml  of  cauvery  water  (store  it  for  2  days  so  that  chlorine  smell  will  not  be  there)  and  add  some  rock  salt  in  one  hand.  then  place  them  where  they  can  get  sunlight.  Try  to  put  them  in  Transparent  bottle  and  cover  the  bottom  with  Black  paper  so  that  BBS  will  swim  towards  top  for  sunlight.  you  can  also  try  to  feed  your  frys  with  egg  yolk  mixed  with  water.  it  would  make  water  cloudy  and  smelly.  regular  water  changes  required.  Gud  luck.

 @Vijai,
 i  will  be  looking  for  100  gms  or  200Gms  of  Brinshrimph  Eggs.  Please  let  me  know  the  availability

 @fischos
 i  will  get  in  touch  with  the  below  mentioned  numbers.
