 Hi,

 Very  nice  colorful  tank.

 Some  tips:

 >  As  Amazonian2010  already  said  always  pickup  your  Discus  from  good  and  right  source.

 >  It's  always  better  for  a  hobbyist  start  with  2-2.5"  sizes.  When  they  reach  5"+,  you  learn
lot  about  Discus  "The  King  of  Fish".

 >  Too  much  different  color  also  looks  bit  zigzag.  You  can  feel  it  later  with  your  experience.

 >  Small  &  Big  combination,  always  give  result  with  some  stunt  Discus.  Again  you  will  learn
      from  your  experience.

 >  For  red  base  Discus  Tetra  Bit  is  excellent  food  to  bring  the  color.  Also  Hikari  Bio-Gold.

 >  Also  Discus  like  light  color  background  and  less  light.

This  is  just  from  my  small  experience.

Keep  up  the  good  work.  Thumb Up

 Hi  Arun,
I  use  very  fine  white  sand  from  LFS.
I  have  very  thing  base  layer  at  bottom  ,only  for  better  looks  and  my  corys.
Once  in  two  weeks  I  just  move  around  the  sand  and  then  it  gets  sucked  from  outlet  pipe  during  water  changing.
Thick  layer  of  sand  means  proper  cleaning  after  week.
I  have  never  given  live  feeds  to  my  discus.
 Regards
 Abhishek
