 hi,

after  spawnning  isolate  the  female  into  another  tank  or  have  a  barrier  so  that  the  female  is  left
 alone  with  the  eggs.

moss  and  plants  wont  help  much.

once  the  frys  start  swimming  and  female  recovers  the  ordeal  move  the  female  back
and  the  frys  are  pretty  sturdy.

 good  luck  with  parenting

by  the  way  what  duboisis  you  have,  is  it  yellow  or  the  burundi  whites  and  how  many???

maybe  start  a  proper  thread  with  pics  of  the  overall  setup,  conditions,  etc  etc
a  good  and  useful  resource  for  others.

 regards

 Dan

Tropheus  are  mouthbrooders.  Females  lay  eggs  and  immediately  take  them  up  in  their  mouth.  If  other  fish  are  eating  the  eggs,  she  is  not  doing  it  right  and  there  is  nothing  you  can  do.

 The  good  doctor  speaks.
But  I  do  not  think  Tarun  is  going  to  change  his  profession  and  have  patients.
 No  offence.  Smile

Seems  like  an  egg  bound  female  trying  to  get  rid  of  her  eggs,  but  with  immature  males  around  her.
