For a 3ft planted tank, there are a plethora of filters that you can use...
1) The best would be an Eheim Canister filter, i think a 2213 (with less fish) or a 2215 should do very well.
2) Internal filters if your budget is low. But remove the air inlet, and divert the flow of water in the co2 diffuser.
There are many GOOD chinese internal filters that you can get in Kolathur... but the time tested ones are of the
chinese makes: Regent, Dolphin, Resun, Boyu (Only higher versions). Go for models with capacity of over 350liters per hour
3) High quality internal filters from brands: Eheim, Aquael, Tetra, Fluval, etc. You can get these too in Kolathur. Go for models
with capacity of over 350liters per hour
DO NOT use Top filters or sponge-air filters as they will dissipate the dissolved co2 out of the water.
