If  you  are  feeding  them  well,  they  can  reach  adult  size  in  less  than  a  month.

Depends  on  how  many  shrimp  are  there  in  how  much  water.  Because  of  the  egg  shells  and  moulting,  they  produce  a  lot  of  ammonia  so  expect  some  die  off  by  the  next  day.  You  could  also  collect  the  remaining  ones  and  transfer  into  another  container  other  than  the  hatching  container  and  keep  in  the  fridge.  It  will  keep  them  alive  longer  and  retain  more  nutrition.

It  is  advisable  to  feed  freshly  hatched  brine  shrimp,  12  hrs  after  hatching  their  nutritional  value  drops  down.
Once  they  hatch  you  separate  them  completely  and  feed  the  required  qty  to  your  fishes  ,  anything  extra  qty  can  freeze  them  and  feed  your  fishes  as  and  when  required.  Use  small  round  container  to  freeze  them.

 Hey  Ravi,
They  are  filter  feeders.  Mine  flourished  in  a  large  tub  with  green  water.  I  also  gave  them  spirulina  and  yeast  in  the  beginning.  Didn't  try  egg  yolk  but  read  somewhere  it  can  be  used.

Thanks  Gokul,  so  if  i  have  like  some  live  shrimp  left  off  i  just  dump  a  spoon  of  yeast  in  the  jar  and  they  eat  it...

I  can  get  spirulina  flakes,  is  that  what  you  are  talking  about...

Ravi,  wish  it  were  that  simple.  Actually  the  salterns  where  they  abound,  the  salinity  is  much  higher  than  sea  water.   Also,  the  water  flows  and  is  well  oxygenated.  At  home,  a  large  tub  with  a  powerhead  should  do  the  trick.  Mine  grew  in  a  tub  that  was  placed  outside  and  neglected  for  sometime.  I  saw  zillions  of  them  in  various  sizes  swimming  randomly.  More  than  60%  of  the  water  in  the  tub  had  evaporated  and  obviously  salinity  had  become  very  high.

Dissolved  yeast,  spirulina  powder  or  finely  powdered  spirulina  flakes.  The  particle  size  of  the  food  must  be  as  small  as  possible  and  must  be  well  dispersed  in  water.

Ravi,  grind  the  spirulina  to  a  very  fine  paste.
You'll  have  to  do  it  manually,  mixer/grinder  will  not  do.

Add  this  to  water  and  shake  well.  Feed  the  brine  shrimp.
The  water  will  become  slightly  cloudy,  that's  when  you  stop,  a  few  hours  later  the  water  should  be  clear.
Good  aeration  to  keep  the  particles  in  suspension  will  do.  Powerhead  is  overkill  IMO.

Harvest  and  feed  the  fish  when  the  brine  shrimp  are  loaded  with  food.
