 Hi  Prash,

If  you  are  so  hopeful  of  breeding  the  sebae  clowns,  they  surely  will  breed  themselves,  just  like  the  cichlids  do.  You  may  face  problems  in  feeding,  once  the  fry  become  free  swimming.  For  best  probability  in  getting  them  breed,  buy  about  5  juvenile  ones,  who  are  caught  from  the  same  anemone  and  raise  them  with  good  care.  The  Day  Will  Come  SOMEDAY!

Can  be  done!  I  have  read  an  article  on  TFH  about  a  hobbyist  breeders  experience.  From  what  I  can  recall  the  eggs  are  laid  on  a  flat  surface  close  to  the  anemones  tentacles  and  the  fry  are  fed  on  rotifers.  Let  me  see  if  I  can  dig  up  that  article!

Right  Beta.  They  are  substrate  spawners.  Take  very  good  care  of  the  eggs  and  the  brood  too.  Just  like  Jewel  cichlids  again.  Anemones  not  a  must  if  there  aren't  any  other  fish  to  disturb.  They  are  not  at  all  difficult  to  breed  and  readily  breed  in  captivity.  Other  ones  that  i  found  easier  too  were  domino  damsel,  3  stripe  Humbugs  (  many  many  times  )  and  Red  tailed  Striped  dottyback.  Eggs  of  sebae  clown  are  much  larger  than  that  of  the  damsels  and  so  are  the  newborns  and  hence  more  easier  to  feed.  But  need  to  be  fed  many  times  a  day  with  regular  partial  water  changes.  Give  a  try.  Its  not  difficult.
