A  lovely  species  Nikhil  was  kind  enough  to  gift  to  me.   Unfortunately,  the  entire  loach  tank  was  wiped  out  when  I  was  away  for  a  coupla  weeks.

A  very  peaceful  species.  Preferred  to  stay  right  under  the  HOB  most  of  the  time.  Not  really  hard  to  feed.  Was  primarily  on  live  worms,  FBS  and  Tetra  Bits.

Nice  pics.  Considering  the  size  these  guys  are,  they  are  amazingly  peaceful  loaches.  Did  well  together  with  my  Bhavania  and  Schistura  kodaguensis.

Too  bad  you  lost  these.  From  what  we  have  seen  they  really  do  love  current.

 Cheers
 ben

Hey  Andy,  thats  a  Mesonemacheilus  triangularis  collected  from  here  :   .   Courtallam

Had  'bout  a  dozen  of  'em  from  various  parts  of  South  India.  Lovely  fish.  Strangely,  a  few  Pangio  oblonga  (???)  and  a  single  Pillaia  indica  survived  the  disaster.  There  was  no  power  for  2  days  during  peak  summer  here.
