I have following components in Co2 setup in the same order:
Aluminium Co2 Cylinder 2 Kg
ESAB Dual Stage Co2 Regulator
Reducing Adapter 3/8 FBSP to 1/8 MNPT
Rotext Soenoid Vavle 1/8" FNPT
Clippard Miniature Needle Valve 1/8" MNPT
Check Valve (connected to Needle Valve)
Interconnects are sealed with PTFE tape (except main connection from Cylinder to Regulator). I suspect leakage for 2 reasons:
1. The cylinder becomes very cold as if kept in refrigerator.
2. The cylinder lasts only for 1-2 weeks max
I am not able to find source of leakage. Can anybody help me about how to make the interconnects air-tight? Is there any need to use sealant or washers? I tried using household (tap) washer in 1/8" interconnect but it gets deformed and stops air supply completely.
