 Could  you  pls  share  what  DIY  food  recipe  do  you  feed  for  your  flower  horns  apart  from  the  pellets  that  you  might  feed.
 
 It  would  be  helping  all  of  us.

 beef  heart,shrimp,prawns,pellets,bcomplex  and  spirulina  is  the  mix  i  feed  my  flower  horn

 I  had  recently  made  a  DIY  receipe  for  my  FH...
 
 1.  200  gm  marker  prawns
 2.  Pudina
 3.  Palak
 4.  Garlic
 5.  Carrot
 6.  Some  pellet  food  which  was  already  there  with  me
 
 The  FH  is  eating  it  very  nicely  and  showing  good  colours  too...

 try  adding  a  half  of  'red-pepper'  (red  capsicum)  dont  add  the  seeds!

 in  fact,  i  freezed  a  part  of  it  and  dried  the  remaining.  the  fishes  (including  2  convicts)  seem  to  love  eating  it  Very Happy

 i  have  tried  up  with  prawns,beefheart,fish  fat  especially  from  freshwater  table  fish.has  any  one  tried  this  my  fh  love  it  but  need  a  daily  water  change.

 Hi,  yoc  can  make  a  wonderful  recipe  with  beef  heart
 Material:
 one  kg  beef  heart  deviened  and  fat  removed
 one  kg  beef  liver
 half  kg  any  white  fish  boneless  boiled  or  4  eggs
 1  bunch  of  blanched  palak  paste
 One  carrot  or  250  gms  peas,  blanched  without  skin  paste
 1  garlic  clove  paste.
 1  tablespoon  spirulina  powder
 2  packets  gelitin.  (Will  not  allow  the  mix  to  spreadin  water)
 Preparation  Method:
 Make  a  fine  paste  of  beef  heart,  liver  and  fish  till  it  becomes  liquid.
 Mix  the  vege.,  spirulina,  garlic  clove  and  grind.
 Boil  water  add  gelitin  add  to  paste  and  cool  the  mixture.
 Store  in  zipbags  in  deep  freezer.  Keep  thickness  of  paste  to  1"  for  storing
 Feeding:  Chop  a  small  piece  as  per  requirment  andfeed  directly.
