The  first  advice  would  be  definitely  a  bigger  tank.  But  I  am  amazed  that  despite  of  having  so  many  fishes  the  water  looks  very  clean.  What  filters  are  running  on  his  tank  ?

As  Ruchit  rightfully  said  -  reduce  fish  count  asap!  that's  the  first  advice!

More  info,  this  tank  is  without  Co2.  More  fish,  more  food,  can  this  be  beneficial  to  the  tank,  in  some  way?

Seriously  the  best  advice  would  be  to  get  a  much  bigger  tank  and  more  filtration

 Hi  Dev,

 1.  The  Tank  is  not  sufficient  for  that  much  no  of  Fishes.  So  if  you  want  to  keep  all  those  fishes  then  you  have  to  consider  for  the  larger  Tank.
 2.  All  the  Fishes  has  to  be  removed  before  reset  up.  You  reintroduce  them  after  the  reset  up  Tank  is  completely  cycled.
 3.  Since  he  is  a  beginner  hobbyist,  I  would  suggest  him  to  remove  all  the  plants  except  Crypts.
 4.  He  can  add  some  more  types  of  low  light  and  low  in  maintenance  plants  as  follows:
 A:   Cryptocoryne  species
 B:   Hygrophila  polisperma  variegated
 C:   Hemianthus  micranthemoides
 D:   Rotala  species
 E:   Bacopa  species
 F:   Anubia  species
 G:   Ferns
 H:   Mosses
I:   Sagittaria  sp.  Subulata  or  Micro  tennelus.

 Extras:   Driftwood  and  Rocks.

 Regards,
 Muneer  Ahmed  kabir

Very  nice  input  guys!  I  knew  that  IAH  is  a  place  where  a  budding  hobbyist  can  get  correct  guidance.  So  mainly  lower  stocking  level,  or  a  bigger  tank.

This  tank  runs  on  a  HOB.  I  think  he  changes  water  often.  or  surely  his  fishes  would  have  died  with  that  kind  of  stocking.

Also  he  should  add  more  easy  plants.

He  is  using  seachem  flourish  black  as  substrate.

You  are  a  experienced  hobbyist  and  run  a  LFS,  I  don't  see  the  need  for  this  thread.
You  could  have  easily  pointed  all  this  to  him  yourself,  had  the  tank  owner  posted  these  questions  it  would  have  made  sense.
Just  wondering  about  the  purpose  of  this  thread.

 Thanks  for  the  praise  Sandeep.

Many  LFS  still,  sadly,  does  not  know  anything  about  planted  aquariums.

Most  of  the  time,  I  am  at  a  loss  words/  expression/  advice/instructions  when  a  beginners  asks  for  advice.  It  becomes  difficult  to  pinpoint  where  to  start  and  how  much  to  tell.  So  I  find  it  apt  to  ask  the  intermediate  hobbyists/aquascapers/planted   tank  enthusiasts,  to  answer  such  requests.  It  helps  in  2  ways,  I  do  not  have  to  say  anything  is  one  of  them.  The  other  benefit  is  that  the  intermediate  hobbyists/aquascapers/planted   tank  enthusiasts,  gets  to  show  and  advice  the  beginners.  And  that  is  the  way  it  should  be.

Happy  New  Year  wish  to  you  and  all.  Very Happy
