 Hi  Friends,

My  3.5  your  old  daughter  had  a  habit  of  watching  TV  all  day,  so  to  divert  her  attention  i  brought  a  Aquarium.
This  is  the  first  Aquarium  in  our  last  3/4  generations  (don't  know  before  that  javascript:emoticon('Wink')  ).
I  don't  have  any  information  regarding  aquarium,  just  purchased  Aquarium  kit.  This  kit  includes  fish  tank  [60x30x45cm],  5  pairs  of  fish,  two  liquid  bottles  (white  to  clear  chlorine,  blue  to  clear  fungus),  filter,  light,  fish-food,  and  some  decorative  things.
Shopkeeper  had  installed  this  setup  at  my  place  and  gave  few  guidelines/steps  for  feeding  and  filter  cleaning.
Everything  was  going  well,  but  suddenly  after  2  days  one  fish  died,  then  again  next  day  one  more  Sad
I  informed  seller,  so  he  suggested  to  reduce  the  food  quantity  from  20  balls  to  15  balls  (  size  of  each  ball  is  half  of  the  homeopathy  globules).
But  again  after  2  days  2  fishes  died.  Now  I  changed  the  water  and  followed  the  steps  he  had  mentioned.
 1.  emptied  fish  tank.
 2.  added  some  rock  salt.
 3.  filled  new  water  which  i  stored  two  days  before
 4.  added  20  drops  of  white  and  blue  liquid.
 5.  installed  filter,  light  and  all  decorative  items
 6.  Acclimated  fish  with  plastic  bag  method.

I  changed  water  yesterday  only,  so  worrying  if  everything  will  be  fine  now  or  there  is  any  other  reason  for  dying  of  fish.
Is  there  any  way  to  know  whether  fishes  are  sick  or  stressed  ???

Everyone  told  me  sharks  are  more  sturdy,  but  in  my  aquarium  sharks  are  dying  very  fast.  First  i  had  two  sharks  then  after  their  death  i  again  brought  two  sharks.  but  now  only  one  is  remained.
Other  fishes  like  Gold  fishes,  Angel  fishes  are  doing  good.

Please  suggest  me  any  good  book  or  video  or  link  to  help  me  to  understand  my  fishes  more  better.

 Thanks  in  anticipation...

You  tank  has  not  cycled,  Read  up  on  cycling  your  fish  tank.

Never  remove  all  the  water  and  clean  the  tank.  Don't  buy  new  fish  till  you  have  cycled  your  tank.
