Get  that  breeding  pair  out  and  you  can  keep  any  number  of  different  kinds  of  fish.
Just  off  the  top  of  my  head,  tetras,  rainbowfish,  corys  and  larger  livebearers.

 @uday
i'll  suggest  u  to  make  a  bigger  home  for  the  angels
because  as  u  told,i  think  the  angels  will  not  grow  very  much  in  that  small  tank
if  u  make  a  3ft  tank  &  put  those  fish  in  it,  they  'll  grow  to  their  original  size  quickly
and  also  give  them  proper  diet!!!!!!!!!!!!
 best  of  luck!!!!!!!!!!!!  Thumb Up

try  Emperor  tetra,  clown  loach.  (min  5  and  3  respectively!)
I  had  them  all  together  and  all  were  fine.  Recently,  I  added  few  Rasboras,  which  injected  some  disease  and  many  fish  died  including  angels.

Agree  with  Pradeep,  somewhere  down  the  line,  you  need  to  remove  the  breeding  pair.  I  had  the  same  happen  to  me  out  of  6  juveniles  in  ~40G  (30"x18"x18")  tank.  Ultimately  I  had  to  remove  the  pair  to  curb  out  aggression  ,  they  are  cichlids  after  all.  I  have  only  3  now  because  they  have  since  grown  to  4"  each  and  filled  up  a  lot.  Anyway  yours  is  a  bigger  tank  and  they  might  coexist  for  a  longer  period.

For  tankmates,  I  have  had  success  with  single  Pearl  Gourami  (I  am  a  fan  of  this  fish  and  I  strongly  believe  that  you  need  some  floating  plants  to  see  the  full  color  of  a  Pearl  Gourami),  rainbows  (bosemani  and  dwarf  neon),  clown  loaches  and  cories.  I  tried  guppies  and  neon  tetras,  but  they  became  food  very  soon  Sad

IME,  the  bosemanis  are  a  little  too  strong  and  energetic  while  feeding  for  the  angels.  The  angels  sometimes  get  startled  by  the  outrageous  behaviour  of  the  bosemanis  at  the  feeding  time.  So,  I  feed  them  at  two  places  at  a  time,  it  partially  solves  the  problem.Dwarf  neons  are  fine  though  as  they  are  much  smaller  in  size  although  they  behave  the  same  way  anticipating  food  at  the  slightest  indication  of  wtaer  surface  movement.

This  is  my  personal  experience  and  opinion  and  by  all  means  I  am  a  rookie,  so  take  it  with  a  grain  of  salt  of  course   Very Happy
Hope  it  helps.  Best  of  luck  growing  the  Angels   Thumb Up

Why  a  single  pearl  gourami?  I  agree  that  male  gouramis  are  more  aggressive  than  most  people  realise  but  pairs  are  usually  tolerant  of  each  other.  Other  than  that  I  agree  with  most  of  what  you  said.

How  would  you  like  mate  if  you  are  pushed  into  a  2'  by  2'  cell  for  the  rest  of  your  life?   Thumb Down   That  is  what  your  angels  are  going  through  at  this  point  of  time.  I  am  sure  they  are  cursing  you  from  their  heart  for  the  cruelty.

 Hi  friends,
Last  monday  i  bought  new  5ft  tank  and   i  shifted   2  pair  of  molly  ,5  pairs  of  guppy
then  one  pair  of  gold  gourami  breeding  size,5angels  and  one  pair  of  shark  were  shifted  to  that  5  ft  tank  along  with  1  pair  of  red  oscar.
Day  by  day  the  oscars  eaten  all  the  livebearers  and  gouramis.
At  present  there  are  only  5angels  and  2shark  along  with  oscars
I  want  to  know  these  oscars  will  kill  my  angels  or  not?  if  not  then  i  dont  need  to  worry  about  it,  otherwise  i  want  shift  them  to  a  new  tank.

 Pls  give  me  your  advice
 Thank  You
 Udhay.

Oscar  will  kill  the  angels  and  anything  else  smaller  than  itself.

uday  you  have  done  wrong  buddy!!
 Dont  keep  oscars  with  angels.
they  become  aggressive  as  they  grow  older
immediately  separate   the  oscar  pair  from  the  tank

oscars  with  oscars  itself  is  really  a  risk  when  they  are  breeding....better  move  the  oscars  or  the  angels  and  sharks.....  Smile

How  about  adding  one  Black  Ghost  Knife  fish  with  your  angels  Smile
But  provide  hiding  places,  also  you  may  not  be  able  to  see  the  fish  except  during  feeding  times  and  when  the  lights  are  turned  off..

 Cheers,
 binu
