 It  looks  nice,
I  have  no  knowledge  of  scaping  but  still  I  agree  with  HAMZA'a  first  point

1)I  feel  that  the  beautiful  wood  should  have  been  exposed  naturally  at  places.  I  could  hardly  make  out  that  such  nice  pieces  of  wood  exist  there.

you  got  really  nice  piece  of  driftwood,  it  should  be  visible....

 @  Hamza,

Sure.  Next  time,  I  will  try  embedding  the  images.

I  will  try  moving  the  anubia  from  the  top  of  the  driftwood.

Lilaeopsis  brasiliensis  is  planted  in-between  the  pebbles..

I  will  increase  the  light  duration  this  weekend

 Currently  3bps

Dosing  is  not  yet  started.  (When  do  I  start?????)

 @  Sunny,

Had  introduced  4  black  molleis  for  tank  cycling...

 @  Bappa,

Trying  to  get  Java  fern  and  Bolbitis..  Once  I  get  hold  of  it,  I  will  place  it  instead  of  Anubia...

 Hi  Shelly

Thats  a  nice  scape....just  some  small  adjustments  required  I  am  sure  you  will  figure  it  out,  your  sister  is  very  lucky  to  get  such  great  gifts   Smile
My  advice  would  be  to  introduce  at  least  8  Yamato  shrimps  and  2-4  Ottos  and  24  cherry  shrimps  approx.
I  hope  you  have  carried  out  W/C,  normally  I  do  3  W/C  a  week  in  a  new  set  up  for  at  least  two  weeks,  this  helps  a  lot  in  bringing  down  the  ammonia  levels  at  start.
What  is  the  filter  you  are  using?  is  it  a  2217  or  2215.See  if  you  can  invest  in  Bio  rio  its  a  very  good  bio  media(by  ADA).  In  my  experience  most  tanks  face  algae  issues  due  to  poor  filtration.
As  for  the  dosing  you  should  have  started  Brighty  K  right  away, about  3-4ml/day   I  would  recommend  you  start  this  immediately.

 All  The  Best!!!!

 @  harshal,

I  would  be  introducing  RCS  this  weekend.  Let  me  check  out  if  any  LFS  currently  would  have  Yamato  and  Otto's.

The  tank  was  commissioned  on  4th  of  this  month.  6  water  changes  have  been  done  till  now.  I  am  using  2217.

Used  one  blue  sponge  in  the  bottom.  One  kg  ceramic  rings  above  it  and  rest  again  the  sponge.  If  I  need  to  go  for  Bio  rio,  how  much  gms  should  I  use??

As  far  as  dosing  is  concerned,  I  am  planning  to  use  PMDD.  Its  already  been  weighted  and  kept.  Only  mixing  is  pending?  If  PMDD,  when  should  I  start  dosing?

 Nice  Start  Shelly.

I  agree  with  Hamza  and  Arjun  on  the  the  Anubias  Placement  and  the  Rocks  sure  need  to  go.  The  driftwood  placement  could  have  been  better  such  that  the  brachy  areas  were  visible  and  some  moss  was  tied  on  it.

One  more  tip,  I  see  the  you  have  done  a  very  flat  bed,  The  next  time,  Suggest  giving  a  slope  from  back  to  front

Be  careful  when  doing  PMDD  with  ADA,  It  could  cause  major  algae  issues.  I  have  seen  the  breakdown  of  ADA  Fertilizer  series  and  its  pretty  lean  as  its  designed  to  work  along  with  the  ADA  Amazonia.  So  i  would  suggest  to  start  in  week  2  and  start  up  very  slowly  in  terns  of  the  dosing  and  adjust  based  on  how  your  plants  react.

 Okay.

 @  Maulik

 Hood:  refer  this:  http://indianaquariumhobbyist.com/community/modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&t=22849

Ehiem  and  Co2  cylinder  is  kept  inside  the  cabinet.  There  are  two  holes  put  at  the  back  of  the  cabinet  for  the  filter  inlet  and  outlet.  I  will  take  photo  when  I  go  tomo  to  my  sister  flat...

 Hi  Shelly

You  will  need  about  2-3  lts  of  bio  rio  for  a  2217.  As  for  dosing  with  PMDD  if  you  can  go  for  ADA  ferts  Nothing  like  it,  or  else  with  pmdd  you  will  have  to  go  the  trial  and  error  method.  Start  only  with  pottasium  dosing.

 Regards

 @  Sumit,

 Thanks  for  the  comments.

 @  Harshal,

Thanks  for  the  info..  As  mentioned  by  Hamza,  I  would  go  for  EI  method..  Yet  to  start  the  dosing...  ADA  Ferts!!!!  Its  little  above  my  budget...  May  be  in  future,  I  can  try  it...

Dont  have  any  idea  on  ADA  ferts  dosing  method.  Since  I  didnt  look  into  it,  dont  have  any  idea  on  what  all  to  use  and  start  off...!!!!!!!!

May  be  once  I  reach  moderate  level  in  Planted  Aquarium,  I  can  look  into  ADA  Ferts...  Confused
