 Unfortunately  we  lost  a  photography  tank  and  a  large  seine  on  the  trip.  So  good  pics  were  not  possible.  For  what  its  worth,

 The  Goby.  The  Gobies  are  with  Beta  luckily.  So  we  can  expect  good  pics.

 Nice  write  up  Balaji!!  It  was  another  fun  filled  trip  with  you  guys.

 @Kaya
 Balaji's  memories  are  fading,  may  be  due  to  to  much  Mystus  :-),  The  parota  shop  is  not  in  Madurai,  its  in  Pamban,  near  the  railway  station.  Ask  for  "Mohabu's  shop"  next  to  the  fish  market.  Awesome  parotas,  had  some  last  week  too.

 @  Beta
                   Rosa  poo,  I  suppose  he  is  out  for  the  second  time  in  IAH  after  marriage.  First  appeared  in  last  AADI  month  and  second  appearance  in  this  AADI  month.  This  might  be  the  loose  in  his  weight.

 @  Balaji
                  Its  normal  for  us  to  loose  some  net  in  every  trip  we  make.  Am  i  rite.  Remeber  the  net  drifting  under  the  bridge  in  tamaraparani  trip?

 Balaji  was  the  happiest  person  in  this  trip.  This  was  the  first  time  I  heard  him  say  "enough"  when  i  asked  him  'do  you  need  some  more  of  the  "Mystus"?'.

   @Krishna
   It  was  the  second  Mosquito  net  that  we  are  losing  in  a  collection  trip.  I  still  remember  the  sight  of  the  net  passing  under  the  bridge  in  the  Tamirabarani  trip,   indicating  our  guys  are  fishing  upstream  :-)

   Shankar  took  home  4  eels  and  two  of  them  were  wonderfully  colored.  Krishna,  if  you  have  their  photos  please  load  them  for  ID.

 Only  3  Eels.  Now  the  biggest  of  them  has  grown  well  and  successfully  swallowed  the  other  two.  Sometimes  shows  up  brilliant  red,  sometimes  brown.  My  mistake,  shouldn't  have  kept  them  together.  The  mystus  are  growing  up  well.  Just  the  fossilis  has  disappeared  into  a  drift  wood.

 Wonderful  trip  with  you  all  guys.

 The  Aplocheilus  collected  close  to  the  sea,  does  not  look  anything  like  blockii  or  parvus.  Doing  good  in  tap  water.

 The  Goby  pictured  above,  isn't  with  Beta.  What  he  has  is  another  interesting  one.  Tiny  one,  but  quite  a  character.
