2  Miracles  in  a  Single  Day.  Unbelievable.   Cheering

Yesterday  Only  I  was  talking  about  Green  Water,  and  today  morning  I  found  Water  is  almost  clear  even  under  MH.   Cheer   So  here  is  the  shot  when  lights  are  on.

The  second  Miracle  is,  just  after  2  days  in  this  tank;  my  Angel  breeding  pair  started  breeding.  The  female  laid  eggs  on  my  CO2  Reactor  and  protecting  them  from  intruders.

Today  I  have  added  2ltr  EHEIM  BIOMECH  into  my  EHEIM  2217  for  better  filteration.  Now  am  left  with  lil  bit  off  Hair  Algae  which  can  be  taken  care  with  a  tooth  brush.   Rock On

Plants  just  started  growing  after  rescaping.  Did  a  small  prune,  now  lets  see  how  it  goes.  :)

Congratulations  on  the  Dual  Miracles  ....  Tank  seems  to  be  coming  out  well.

Just  one  thing  .....  somehow  feel  that  the  beauty  of  the  driftwood  is  not  being  showcased  well  .....  it  could  just  be  because  of  the  slightly  cloudy  water  causing  the  distraction   Smile

Thanks  buddy  for  the  comment.  You  are  right.  As  of  now  in  the  picture,  the  wood  is  not  so  much  visible  and  not  catching  the  eye.  Yes...  the  water  is  still  bit  cloudy,  and  I  am  getting  lots  of  unwanted  reflections  from  the  background  which  is  making  the  background  plants  hazy.

Lets  wait  for  some  more  days.  I  am  on  the  way  of  getting  an  Aquael  UV  Sterelizer  to  get  the  water  polished.

And  top  of  that,  I  have  to  try  out  taking  the  picture  from  different  angel  to  see  which  one  is  catching  the  eye  more.   Smile

Starting  a  journal  is  very  easy  but  to  maintain  it  properly  with  all  the  ups  and  down  is  too  tough,  specially  when  someone  going  through  a  very  long  bad  patch.  I  am  updating  the  journal  with  my  failures  and  problems  only  because  I  am  learning  lots  of  things  from  this  setup  and  want  to  keep  a  note  of  everything.  So  friends,  please  bear  with  me.

 Update,
 1.  Somehow  controled  Green  Water  and  Green  Dust  Algae  also  came  in  a  check.  (Here  is,  My  long  battle  against  Green  Water    )   Thumb Up

 2.  Some  how  I  was  able  to  screwed  up  my  CO2  level  and  am  greeted  with  Green  Hair  Algae.   Thumb Down

 3.  transferred  my  Anubias  stock  from  my  Low  Tech  without  checking  if  they  have  any  BBA.  And  I  got  couple  of  place  where  BBA  is  now  thriving.   Thumb Down

 4.  While  controlling  the  Green  Water,  I  reduced  the  Dosing,  and  now  I  am  facing  serious  Micro  Deficiency.  Rotala  got  stunted  after  prunning.  Same  with  Umbrosum.   Thumb Down

 5.  Added  some  Fissidens  and  Spiky  moss  on  Rocks.  (Gifted  by  Bappa  Da)  :)

 6.  Java  Mosses  grown  well  even  in  this  rough  period.   Thumb Up

 7.  Last  but  not  the  least,  I  got  Green  Spot  Algae  infestation  too.   Thumb Down

Now  I  have  started  eradicating  the  algaes  one  by  one,  correcting  the  faults  what  I  have  done.

Here  is  an  ugly  shot  of  the  tank,  taken  3-4  days  back.  Didn't  even  clear  the  glasses  before  the  shot.

I  will  not  rip  out  the  setup,  just  to  see  if  I  can  get  rid  of  the  problems  and  if  I  can  bring  back  the  balance.

But  after  seeing  my  frustration,  my  betterhalf  approved  my  request  of  a  small  ADA  moss  tank.   Cheering

Tank  looks  damn  cool....PLEASE  DO  NOT  RIP  THIS  APART.

Congratulations  for  the  new  mini  ADA  project.  Go  all  ADA  and  do  not  restrict  yourself  to  a  moss  setup  as  Delhi  temp  will  be  the  main  factor  working  against  the  project.  Go  for  a  iwagumi  with  Hair  grass  and  some  other  plant.

 Hmmm,
the  tank  looks  good.  Don't  think  of  ripping  i  off----its  not  helping  (thats  what  we  keep  assuring  each  other)  Why  not  (1)  try  the  UV  light?  and  (2)  make  a  trip  to  my  house  and  pick  up  some  Ottos  and  mollies?  Btw,  mut  admit  my  5  Ottos  and  20  RCS  seems  to  be  all  influencd  by  VLCCs  of  the  world  Very Happy   They  are  on  a  diet---the  algae  grows   Sad  !!!

Btw,  just  remebered  your  tank  is  next  to  the  verandah  with  direct  access  to  sunlight......  just  wondering...
