Seetha..........  Ultimate  scaping  and  starting.  The  tank  is  looking  superb.  Just  will  wait  to  see  the  growths.

 Question:

 1.  Where  did  you  installed  the  Filter  Outlet  pipe??  It's  not  visible  in  Picture.

 2.  You  aimed  for  mostly  low  light  plants  like  Anubias/Crypts  and  Ferns.  Then  why  you  are  using  ADA  Brighty  K??  Any  specific  reason?

 @  tirtha

the  glass  lily  outflow  is  on  the  top  right  hand  corner.

 Rgds,
 Prabhu

Congratulations!      Clapping  I  am  sure  this  is  going  to  look  great.  An  observation   this  is  not  a  criticism,  I  think  the  river  in  the  middle  has  been  tried  many  times,  however,  more  often  it  is  with  the  'jungle'  on  the  two  sides,  this  one  has  somewhat  different  kind  of  plants  ,  just  curious  if  this  is  your  original  idea  or  are  you  inspired  by  some  thing  you  have  seen.   What  is  the  final  look  that  you  are  aiming  for?
The  driftwood  is  bound  to  give  this  one  its  USP.  Congrats  once  again!

@  Tirtha  -  Thank  You,  as  Prabhu  mentioned  the  Lily  Pipe  outflow  is  at  the  right  hand  corner
near  the  intake.  Yes  i  do  have  a  lot  of  low  light  plants,  but  also  have  a  lot  of  dwarf  hairgrass,  vivipara  and  Ludwiga  arcuata  at  the  back  of  the  driftwood,  hence  the  brighty  K

@  Prabhu  -  Thank  You  Sir

@  Gator  -  Thank  You,  will  try  taking  some  close  up  shots  and  post.

@  Kartikeya  -  Thank  You  ,  and  a  very  valid  point  about  the  river  in  the  middle,  i  thought  about  it  a  lot  before  i  decided  to  do  it  since  its  been  done  a  lot  of  times.

This  is  my  original  idea,  not  inspired  by  any  scenery  i  saw.  Belive  it  or  not  i  used  to  spend  1  to  2  hrs  everyday  for  3  weeks  staring  at  the  drift  wood  (Its  2  pieces  )  deciding  on  the  placement  and  imagining  the  look  i  want.  The  idea  was  that  you  will  notice  that  the  driftood  branch  in  the  center  comes  down  in  the  form  of  an  arc  and  touches  the  ground  and  the  river  appears  to  flow  from  somewhere  beyond  and  through  the  arc  and  i  have  always  had  this  image  where  there  is  a  thick  jungle  on  one  side  with  branches  protruding  out  above  the  river  and  the  other  side  is  less  dense  vegetation,  this  is  like  the  river  seperating  the  jungle  from  the  other  side.  That  was  the  whole  idea   Smile   ,  i  hope  i  was  able  to  explain  it  the  way  i  wanted  to   Chuckle

Another  superb  layout.  I  want  a  driftwood  like  that.  It  is  so  amazing!  Can't  wait  to  see  when  the  mosses  spread  evenly  on  the  wood.  One  question  though  ---  aren't  the  (planned)  fauna  a  bit  on  the  higher  side?

Thank  You  Trevor  .....  Compliment  coming  from  you,  i  take  it  that  i  have  done  a  pretty  descent  job  on  the  tank   :D

@  Bappa  and  Lawrence  -  Thank  you  for  your  comments,  its  actually  2  pieces  of  driftwood,  i  have  placed  them  in  such  a  way  that  the  branches  entwine  and  have  covered  that  area  with  Moss  to  give  the  effect  of  one  big  piece  of  driwtwood   Smile

And  coming  to  think  of  it  ,  it  does  look  on  the  higher  side,  will  probably  cut  down  to  24-30  Cardinals.

Would  it  not  been  better  if  you  put  a  similar  driftwood  on  the  right  hand  side  as  well.  The  left  hand  side  kind  of  pulls  the  attention.  For  to  leave  the  right  hand  side  with  out  any  driftwood  i  feel  the  tank  size  should  be  bigger  than  yours.  Maybe  if  the  plants  grow  to  full  on  the  right  sand  it  might  be  ok.  What  plants  have  you  planted  on  the  side  where  there  are  no  driftwood.   All  the  best  ...   Thumb Up

 Hey  Sridhar

Agree  that  usually  its  that  way,  where  you  place  2  similar  size  driftwood  on  either  side,  but  that  has  been  done  before  by  like  a  gazillion  aquascapers  and  i  personally  feel  that  its  become  boring.  Also  the  left  hand  side  is  the  key  area  of  the  scaping.

 On  the  right  hand  side

Background:  Eleocharis  vivipara  (Tall  Hair  Grass)
Midground:  Cryptocoryne  Wendetti  Brown  (This  may  be  replaced/removed  depending  on  how  it  looks  when  it  grows  out)
Foreground:  Eleocharis  parvula  (Dwarf  Hair  Grass)
 Boder:  Rocks  with  Willow  Moss
