Man...this is I call thinking biggggggggggggggggggggg !!!!!
Like your idea but do you require any special permission for the authority?
:) well.. its a lot of time and effort.. never might see the light.. but would love it if i could.. i don't think you need any special permission as such.. as long as its inside your property shouldn't be an issue.. and as long as it is not close to any local waterbody.. don't want to accidentally release any of the fish into native waters..

An update after ages.. took this video before a water change..learnt a few things over this time.. have more smaller drains in different areas of the pond.. the pond is best if done in levels and not a slope.. the debris when it reaches the last level will stay there and not keep swirling around like in mine.. both my boyu pumps have given up, so im using a 1/2 hp pump to circulate water and also to drain out the pond.. i had a recurring issue with brown algae.. and i had to step in every week to wipe it off.. i've had these 4 pleco for ages.. 2 albino.. a chocolate and a common.. i tossed them in and i've never seen any algae ever since..
I see the fish everyday so they look the same size always.. but they seem to have packed on some size.. two of the biggest aros are pushing 30+".. the tile is 1X1.. the smallest aro must be about 28".. the red tail catfish is also about(not less) 30", the tiger shovelnose catfish is 24".. i released him when he was like 18".. he ate one of the silver dollars.. so now i only have like 3 silver dollars.. a small salvini.. and the other cichlids.. 4 oscars, 2 jags, and the (god damn) red devils..
Welcome back big brother...thats a long awaited update from you..the growth is awesome and thrilled by the view.
did you tried the snorkeling with them as suggested earlier?
all the best
he bro.. thanks.. no snorkelling so far.. but yes i've had them swimming way too close while cleaning the pond.. the oscars (pairs) bite me all the time.. the tsn is always curious.. the others come like a feet and a half close to me.. thats about it.. can be only more of a stationary snorkel.. will see if i can get some gear here.. cheers
