I  need  some  hardy  moss  for  my  planted  tank.  Please  let  me  know  if  any  of  you  have  spare  moss.  I  will  be  re  doing  the  tank  either  this  sunday  or  the  next  depending  on  when  i  get  the  moss  and  plants  i  am  looking  for.  I  am  also  looking  for  some  java  fern.

PS:  Bangalore  only,  and  I  can  pick  it  up  during  the  week  end.

 Your  post  is  confusing.

If  you  want  to  borrow  you  have  to  return  the  stuff  you  borrow.

If  you  want  to  steal  no  one  will  look  in  your  direction.

Suggest  you  use  the  word  adopt.  Legally  adopting  the  moss  means  you  do  not  have  to  return  the  moss.

Your  best  bet  is  to  offer  to  buy  the  moss  even  if  that  is  not  your  intention.  Smile

You  will  find  generous  people  when  you  act  generous  and  offer  to  pay.  Thumb Up

 Hi  Preeths,

We  all  i.e  Bangalore  hobbyist  have  spare  moss,  Thanks  to  the  generosity  of  Trevor,Adip,Madan  and  Mayur.

All  it  needs  is  a  bit  of  gratitude  publicly  displayed,  when  someone  has  done  us  a  favour,
like  thanking  the  driver  who  has  so  graciously  taken  us  in  his  car  or  the  person  who  has  paid  for  lunch,  or  the  person  who  graciously  made  space  in  his  car  for  a  gigantic  driftwood.

These  small  things  as  well  as  networking  will  help  us  get  a  lot  of  things  that  we  need  in  this  hobby.

Why,see  the  post  ASK  outlet  reopens.  Mayur  was  distributing  different  type  of  moss  in  bunches  for  all  those  who  were  present  FOR  FREE.

 Regards,
 Nayak.

Was  in  a  happy  mood  yesterday  since  i  got  categorical  permission  for  2  more  tanks.  Any  way,  I  have  been  restless  to  startoff  with  a  planted  tank  for  some  days.  espeicially  after  seeing  navneeths  setup  and  the  planted  tanks  at  Madan's  place.  I  experimented  with  some  simple  plants  but  still  dint  get  the  look  I  desired.  The  subject  line  was  more  to  get  attention  from  prospective  hobbyists.  Ill  be  more  careful  next  time   Wall Bang

And  i  cannot  forget  Mayur  after  having  quail  during  the  trip.  Dont  seem  to  find  that  dish  any  where  in  Bangalore.  Thumb Up
