Gokul,  This  is  the  Co2  speed  regulator.  A  high  grade  model  for  our  refillable  Co2  cylinders.  Adjustable  pressure  inhibition  function(0-0.35MPa)  allows  the  outflow  pressure  to  be  manually  controlled  and  compatible  with  our  Co2  distribution  parts.  This  is  excellent  for  Co2  supply  to  multiple  tanks.
P.S.  Since  you  have  a  young  son  at  home  using  quality  items  is  advisable.

While  you  guys  are  posting  your  interesting  views  all  the  ADA  glass  tanks  have  been  sold.

 hi  all,

it  just  clicked  me  after  seeing  the  small  cylinder,
that  CO2  pocket  cylinder  is  readily  available  at  any  good
Sports  Cycle  outlet  with  all  the  fittings  which  can  be  easily
 customized  for  a  tank  purpose.

The  trek/gary  fisher  bike  outlets  have  them  and  these  are  called
 Puncture  Kits.

the  small  cylinders  are  2  in  number  and  they  are  used  to  fill  in  instant
Co2  in  sports  cycle  tyre.  I  can  tell  you  the  cost  is  very  affordable
but  I  am  not  sure  in  India.  In  Melbourne  the  price  is  XX  AUD.
(less  than  one  third  per  cylinder)

In  bangalore  I  am  not  sure  where  to  find  trek  outlet  but  I  have  heard
that  pune  and  chennai  are  the  places  for  these.

 Hope  this  makes  sense.

hey  just  for  all  the  skeptic  people  i  have  a  link  so  that  you  can  see  how  small  and  cool
these  are,  don't  bother  about  the  prices  mentioned  there:

Thanks  Trevor  Sir  for  sharing  the  sneak  picks  of  these  fantastic  stuffs.   Smile  ADA  is  simply  unbeatable  for  the  design  and  quality.

But  I  have  to  go  a  long  long  way  before  I  can  think  about  these  beauties.  Otherwise  it  will  be  "Bandar  Ki  Gale  Me  Moti  Ka  Mala"  for  me.   ROFL   ROFL   (Not  that  I  can't  afford  it  but  there  are  lots  of  things  still  to  learn  in  growing  aquatic  plants  using  our  old  good  stuffs  ).

i  am  sure  the  product  are  excellently  designed  but  for  some  of  us  its  more  a  quaestion  of  affording  them.  however  a  brochure  for  India  would  be  great.  just  to  have  a  glimpse  as  to  what  is  on  offer  and  what  we  might  miss  out  on   Thumb Up  .

Thanks  Dan  and  Tirtha  for  your  posts.
Dan  the  Co2  cylinder  for  the  cycles  puncture  repair  are  cute.

So  far  we  have  been  using  industrial  co2  systems  for  our  aquariums  at  home.

Raj  at  A-S-K@  yahoogroups,  Madan  and  myself  were  the  first  to  use  them  in  the  country.  I  remember  the  C02  regulator  was  re  bored,  and   Madan  had  used  his  taps  and  dies  to  retread  the  fittings.  A  lot  of  real  DIY  stuff.  There  were  no  suitable  fittings.  This  Co2  set  is  still  in  use  by  me.
At  first  huge  cylinders  were  used  which  were  kept  far  away  outside  the  house  in  the  garage,  portico  etc.
Slowly  the  cylinders  became  smaller  and  were  kept  near  the  tanks  as  confidence  grew.  Industrial  fittings  of  fibre/P.U  soon  became  available.  To  cut  a  long  story  short  we  have  come  a  long  way.

I  find  that  guys  of  little  knowledge  in  planted  aquariums  are  commenting  on  these  fine  engineered  products  made  specifically  for  the  planted  aquarium.
Although  all  comments  are  welcome.  Its  like  asking  the  common  cyclists  to  comment  on  merits  of  the  Rolls  Royce.  First  they  should  at  least  get  a  chance  to  sit  in  a  car.

Prices  are  a  different  matter.  But  then  there  will  always  be  plenty  of  silent  guys  who  want  the  best.

DIY  stuff  is  the  way  to  go  for  those  who  cannot  afford  right  now.

 To  each  his  own.

I  have  used,  ADA  products  in  my  tanks,  they  are  DAMN  GOOD.  There  is  a  HUGE  difference  when  compared  to  normal  laterite  and  gravel  or  Aquaclear  substrate,  I  can  compare  ADA  with  these  2  as  I  have  also  used  them.  But,  ADA  pricing  is  STIFF  as  we  all  know.  1  KG  of  ADA  rocks  cost  aprox  15k  INR...So  you  guys  can  guess  the  cost  of  the  things  and  IMO  it  is  better  to  practice  selective  buying  as  far  as  ADA  is  concerned.

@  Nanu  -  Please  check  on  Adip's  post  earlier  on  how  you  can  get  the  prices.  I  saw  the  post  in  the  wee  hours  of  today  morning  (12:30  AM  i  think)  and  i  sent  a  mail  out,  i  had  the  price  list  in  my  Inbox  by  9:15  AM.

@  Adip  -  Thanks  for  the  Pricing,  from  what  i  can  see  ,  there  is  a  considerable  dip  in  the  prices  from  before.

@Adip,  Thanks  a  lot  for  the  price  list.  I  was  looking  for  couple  of  ADA  goods  (Like  AS)  for  a  long  time  and  I  knew  their  price  in  US  and  Asia.  Your  price  list  is  really  superb.  I  never  expected,  I  would  be  able  to  get  ADA  stuffs  here  at  this  price  range.  Thanks  again!!  Wish  you  all  the  best.

 Great!!  Thanks  a  lot  Rahul.

@Trevor  Sir/Adip:  Have  a  small  question.  How  to  refill  the  cylinder??  Is  there  any  special  ADA  refill  available  or  we  can  directly  refill  it  from  CO2  gas  station?  And  in  long  run  how  costly  is  the  mentenance(Refill  only)  compare  to  a  normal  Gas  Cylinder?

I  saw  that.  But  just  asking  if  there  is  an  way  arround  and  how  costly  it  will  to  refill  be  compare  to  our  normal  cylinder.  Wink
