What  is  the  room  temp?  How  is  the  light  placed?  Is  it  at  a  hight  from  the  surface  of  the  water?  Is  it  an  Open  Canopy  or  a  closed  one?  If  it  is  closed  you  might  not  be  getting  enough  air  circulaion  in  there  causing  the  light  to  heat  the  water.

Try  keeping  atlest  a  6  Inch  height  between  the  lights  and  the  surface  of  the  water.

Some  pictures  on  the  way  your  lights  are  placed  would  help.

 What  is  the  room  temp?
 the  water  temp  is  30.c

   How  is  the  light  placed?
the  light  is  placed  on  the  hood  i  have  the  triangular  hood  and  the  lights  are  placed  at  the  back.

Is  it  at  a  hight  from  the  surface  of  the  water?
nopes  only  one  inch...actually  i  have  tow  pll  18w  and  they  are  placed  sloping  so  the  one  lower  is  around  one  inch  away  from  the  water.

s  it  an  Open  Canopy  or  a  closed  one?
 its  a  closed  one.

Ok....IMO  the  lights  are  too  close  to  the  water  surface  resulting  in  your  water  temp  to  shoot  up,  added  to  that  is  that  the  canopy  is  a  closed  one.

For  starters,  try  elevating  the  canopy  to  a  height  of  atleast  6  -  8  inches  from  the  water  surface,  this  should  take  care  of  the  problem  to  some  level.  If  you  post  a  picture  can  suggest  some  ideas.

Do  you  have  a  full  tank  shot?  Looking  at  the  way  the  canopy  is  placed  would  be  able  to  give  some  suggestions  on  elevating  the  height.

 Hey  Ankit

Instead  of  elevating  the  entire  hood  off  the  tank,  first  try  this  out

Find  a  way  to  keep  the  lid  of  the  canopy  open  such  that  the  lid  forms  a  90  Degree  angle  with  the  table  on  which  you  have  the  aquarium,  that  should  get  some  air  circulation  in  there.

Else  just  keep  the  lid  completely  open  and  check  if  that  makes  any  difference  in  the  water  temperature.

The  only  other  alternative  is  to  put  a  cooling  fan  in  there.

See  the  below  link.  This  is  for  you  to  get  an  idea  about  cooling  fans,  please  do  some  more  research  before  you  buy
