 Thanks  Surya.

Today  being  Saturday  is  chitchat  day.  Seeing  all  the  gloom  around  I  think  it  is  time  to  bring  out  what  our  own  aquarists  have  achieved  during  Annaimalai  trip.  Research  and  discoveries  are  no  longer  the  sole  domains  of  foreign  sites.  When  we  apply  our  mind  to  it  we  are  capable  too.

Here  is  the  mother  of  all  PMDD.....
 http://indianaquariumhobbyist.com/community/modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&t=6515&highlight=dino+pee

Disclaimer:  Do  not  try  to  replicate.  This  feat  has  been  done  by  very  very  experienced  hobbyist's.

 Regards,
 Nayak.

 Nayak,

I  must  say  i  am  loving  every  bit  of  this.  I  have  sat  and  admired  every  bit  of  this.  You  were  always  very  enthusiastic  but  the  ability  to  remember  such  detail  is  something  i  am  still  in  awe  of.  Keep  it  coming.

Nayak,  I  blame  you  for  the  belly  ache  I  am  suffering  from  laughing  –  It’s  a  good  thing  dinosaurs  are  extinct  and  we  have  nothing  bigger  than  elephants.

An  improved  upgraded  version  of  PMDD  for  planted  tanks  is  in  the  pipeline.  Serious  planted  tank  gardeners  can  contact  Nayak  and  Madhu.

You  could  well  contact  Adipo  too.   An  ADA  dealership  doesn't  mean  he  is  out  of  our  own  R&D.   Infact  I  remember  him  being  the  man  behind  the  Eagle  Feather  hypothesis.

So  true.  The  hunt  for  exotic  natural  combinations  for  PMDD  never  ends.  Now  with  Japanese  cutting  edge  technology.

Japan?  That  looks  like  typical  Kerala  backwaters  in  the  background?

That  is  Sri  Lanka.  The  cutting  edge  technology  comes  from  Japan.

PostPosted: Tue Nov 04, 2008 8:02 pm Post subject: Re: Memories...walking the hobby with the help of IAH Reply with quote

 Continued  May-June  2006

On  the  ASK  front  we  had  news  which  we  accepted  with  mixed  feelings.

Nikhil  was  moving  to  Scotland  for  higher  studies  and  Jenny  had  found  her  soul  mate.

We  were  happy  for  them,  Nikhil  who  had  helped  us  a  lot  in  our  hobby  and  Jenny  a  friend  who  made  sure  we  were  never  hungry  with  her  delicious  Sandwiches  and  cakes.  But  we  were  also  sad  for  the  parting.

But  at  ASK  are  we  to  go  hungry?  No  way.  For  GOD  had  pre-ordained  that  we  would  always  be  well  fed.
In  June  we  were  joined  by  another  two  new  aquarists/bakers  who  became  our  good  friends.  Suuresh  and  especially  Mayurdev.

First  we  started  with  Popcorn  brought  by  Mayur  for  Tia(Suuresh's  daughter)  which  we  used  to  pirate.  Seeing  grownups  stealing  from  a  child  Mayur  started  bringing  Popcorn  for  us  too,  which  graduated  to  Puffs,  Samosa  and  Cakes.  Drool

This  was  a  prelude  to  what  Mayur  would  give  us  in  terms  of  Planted  tank  hobby.  A  enthusiastic  Planted  nut  he  is  so  prolific  in  identifying  plants  that  I  accept  his  verdict  without  hesitation.

I  still  remember  Jenny's  appraisal  of  Trevor  after  our  first  meeting  as  newbies  with  him.

A  gruff  man  with  a  big  heart!

Trust  a  lady's  intution  to  judge  it  right  the  first  time  Thumb Up

 Regards,
 Nayak.
