I  wouldn't  advice  a  scraper  for  your  acrylic  tank  as  you  will  end  up  scratching  it.

Agree  with  Suraj  ....  avoid  the  scraper.

You  should  be  able  to  get  the  magnetic  type  cleaner  in  any  LFS  ....  but  if  your  willing  to  get  your  hands  wet  then  you  could  use  ordinary  sponge  or  Scrotch  Brite  as  well,  just  ensure  that  there  is  no  substrate  stuck  in  it  while  you  rub  the  tank  sides  as  that  could  lead  to  scratches.

Kush,  have  you  used  a  magnet  scrubber  before?  I  just  bought  one  a  couple  of  years  ago  and  I  rarely  use  it.  I  guess  I  am  just  to  used  to  sticking  my  hands  in  the  tank.  They  are  conveinent  to  use  if  your  fish  attack  you  when  hands  are  submerged.  One  of  my  last  (very  large)  goldfish  always  tried  to  pull  flesh  off  my  hands!
Here  is  my  scrubber:   Magnet  scrubber
They  make  one  for  acrylic  tanks  too:  Acrylic  scrubber
These  things  are  real  handy  food  holders  (attaching  leafy  greens  etc.)

 Hi  Friends  !

Thanks  for  the  kind  replies  and  for  caring  !

I  know  that  these  things  can  be  pretty  dangerous,  specially  if  a  bit  of  gravel  gets  stuck  in  it...  I  dont  mind  putting  my  hand  inside  the  tank  atall,  but  the  problem  is  that  my  Atman  4  Feet  Tank  came  with  a  very  heavy  metal  hood  which  cant  be  easily  and  frequently  lifted  at  will...  They  havent  even  give  a  open-close  type  flap  or  door  to  feed  or  to  put  in  your  hand...  It  has  just  a  narrow  spave  right  in  the  center  to  feed  the  fish...  This  is  the  reasong  I  want  a  magnetic  scraper...

I  had  read  about  the  MAG-FLOAT  Acrylic  Tank  safe  scrappers  and  I  was  just  wondering  if  anybody  in  india  has  them  or  sells  them...  Any  ideas  ?

Thanks  again  for  the  kind  replies  and  for  caring...
 Have  a  Wonderful  day  !
 Kush  Smile

I  have  one  of  those...  Got  it  a  couple  of  weeks  back  and  not  too  happy  about  it.  For  one,  seems  to  take  longer  than  if  I  were  to  use  my  hand...  And  second,  the  scrubber  will  not  exactly  move  smoothly  with  the  magnet  on  the  outside  unless  you  are  really  slow.  Else  the  movement  is  very  choppy  and  causes  the  scares  the  fish  like  crazy.  Even  with  very  slow  movement,  they  dont  like  it  much  when  I  am  scrubbing  the  tank  and  relax  only  after  I  stop.  But  then  my  tank  is  74x35x47  cm.  So  perhaps  a  larger  tank  might  not  have  much  of  the  second  issue  because  of  the  volume.  I  hardly  use  it  after  the  first  couple  of  tries.  Should  you  still  wish  to  own  one,  it  is  very  easily  available  in  almost  all  the  local  stores.

Well,  I  did  not  see  a  separate  "safe  for  acrylic"  label  on  the  one  I  got.  But  the  bristles  are  soft  and  do  not  leave  any  scratch  marks.  That  is  in  my  tank  which  got  scratch  marks  when  I  used  the  regular  scrubber  that  comes  with  utensils.
