Do  they  have  to  be  kept  in  a  species  only  tank?

with  inverts  its  always  trciky  keeping  them  in  groups
even  among  confirmed  pairs  sometimes  the  mate  is  killed  by  the  other  during  their  molting  period
so  its  always  better  to  have  a  tank  with  lots  of  hiding  places  and  keep  them  well  fed

and  keeping  fish  with  them  is  not  always  safe  as  theya  re  opportunistic  hunters  if  they  get  a  chance  they  will  eat  fish

there  is  one  fellow  i  know  of  who  keeps  crabs  and  crays  in  the  same  tank  but  he  has  quite  a  large  tank  and  tooo  much  driftwood  and  loads  of  hiding  places  in  his  tanks  and  feeds  them  well  on  veggies  and  pellets

i  keep  danios  along  with  my  crays

i  fed  mine  on  vivi  tropical  fish  food  and  higashi  and  some  times  they  get  earthworms  when  i  want  to  see  some  destruction  and  gore,  and  carrots  and  pieces  of  papaya(always  just  before  cleaning  the  tank  as  papaya  spoils  the  water  quite  quick)

He's  just  TOO  BEAUTIFUL  !  I've  fallen  in  love  !  I  think  he  deserves  a  seperate  tank  and  lots  of  treats  !
Thank  you  so  much  for  kindly  sharing  the  wonderful  pics  with  us   Smile   If  I  may  say  this  -  you've  made  my  day  !
I  wish  I  had   a  few  of  them   Smile
