This  is  true.  It  has  really  given  me  a  shock.

I  am  too  scared  to  post  photographs  of  the  other  species  I  have.

All  shrimps  have  been  sent  to  my  farmhouse  where  they  can  be  safer  with  my  Rottweilers  who  are  on  duty  24/7.

 Trevor:  Awesome  shrimps..
The  Red  nose  larvae  needs  brackish  water  to  survive  so  it  might  be  a  good  project  for  you.
The  Ivory  shrimp  are  predatory  so  needs  lots  of  cover  so  that  they  dont  predate  on  one  another.

Vyas:  The  ivory  shrimp  are  found  in  Ichamati  river.  It  would  be  strange  if  their  range  stretches  till  Kerala.

True  Beta,  I  was  quite  surprised  when  Vyas  said  they  caught  the  Ivory  shrimps  in  Kerala.

I  will  have  to  take  better  photographs.

Will  look  for  a  black  background  to  bring  out  the  beauty  of  the  Ivory  shrimps.

This  fella  was  with  loads  of  other  barbs  and  other  fishes  ...did  see  him  snuggle  with  a  dead  fish  once  I  think..otherwise  was  seen  chomping  on  pellets

Right  now  he  shares  a  tank  with  two  Adult  Krib  pair...

i  dont  have  notes  from  that  trip..never  made  them  Sad...My  guess  is..  he  was  caught  in  the  swamps  at  Mavoor  near  Calicut!...
