I  am  ok  with  the  routes,  &  the  dates  &  timings.  No  smoking  in  my  car  either.  Booze  is  ok  as  long  as  it  is  not  spilt  &  the  car  smells  of  booze  only.
I  drove  down  to  mangalore  last  two  weekends  &  am  ok  with  driving  long  distances.  I  dont  drink  coffee  or  tea  &  eat  at  anytime.  I'm  vegetarian,  thats  the  only  catch.  I  have  relatives  in  koppa  so  if  anything's  required  let  me  know.  How  about  staying  in  koppa?  I  can  look  into  that  option  for  everybody.  Farm  house  again?  So  all  this  means  i'm  coming  for  sure.

Shreyes  you  should  have  come  home  today.
Deepak  (random  2)  was  here  along  with  Dinesh  and  Trevor,  we  had  a  long  talk  about  the  route  and  places  to  stay,  would  have  liked  your  input  too.
Deepak  is  looking  at  accomodation  at  Tirthahalli,  he'll  get  back  soon.  Now  that  you  know  Koppa  too,  our  options  open  up.
We  can  avoid  Shimoga  altogether  save  driving  time  and  look  around  for  fish  instead.

The  route  may  change  after  a  probable  recce  for  accomodations,  before  we  start.

Sorry,  I  was  actually  free  yesterday,  but  I  thought  the  meeting  was  only  between  Deepak  and  you,  so  I  did  not  come.

 Hi  All,
Still  fairly  new  to  the  hobby  and  this  forum  but  this  trip  sure  does  sound  interesting.   I  am  curious  about  what  kind  of  fish  are  likely  to  be  found  on  trips  like  these  -  the  familiar  ones  like  barbs,  danios,  rasboras  or  something  more  indigenous/exotic?   I  have  seen  the  big  black  carps  in  Sringeri  but  could  never  figure  out  who  they  must  be  eating  in  those  rivers  to  grow  so  big:-)

 Thanks
 shankar
