In  my  opinion,  that  many  denisonii  in  a  pond  of  that  size  may  be  a  bit  too  cramped.  I'd  suggest  you  lower  the  number,  and  heavily  plant  the  pond  to  provide  security  to  the  fish.

Tankmates  can  be  varied,  as  stated  by  the  others,  but  it's  pretty  hard  to  view  Puntius  sp.  from  above  anyhow.

Also,  try  an  keep  the  pond  restricted  to  native  fish  as  much  as  possible.  You  can  even  create  a  biotope.

Well  Abhi,  by  Biotope  i  mean  a  setup  which  is  very  similar  to  their  natural  habitat.
Ideally  this  would  include  plants,  fish,  inverts  and  other  organisms.  Plants  and  inverts  from  their  habitat  would  be  a  tough  call,  but  fish  are  no  problem,  Puntius  denisonii  share  their  waters  with  -

 Puntius  fasciatus
 Puntius  filamentosus
 Pristolepis  marginata
 Garra  mullya
 Pseudosphromenus  cupanus
 Aplocheilus  parvus

All  the  fish  are  not  too  easy  to  get,  you  will  have  to  cut  and  choose  i  guess.  Shrimp  too.

 Abhis9,

When  you  can't  understand  what  is  written  in  English  please  keep  quiet.  Everybody  is  praising  a  newbie  (not  so  much  a  newbie  seeing  douwe's  post)
Make  an  effort  to  find  out  what  people  are  trying  to  say  before  saying  anything!

 Hello  Mr.  Madan,

Sorry  u  are  taking  this  thing  wrong  way.  Because  this  was  an  old  issue  and  I  already  confess  about  this.  So  revamp  the  issue  again  by  a  newbie  and  making  it  to  a  fun  is  not  expected  senior  people  like  you.

Again  this  type  bossing  attitude  not  expected  also.  This  is  a  very  unfortunate  moment  of  IAH.

Just  remember  one  thing  our  5  fingers  are  not  same  and  u  can  not  expect  also.  But  as  a  senior  most  member  of  this  forum  I  expected  a  minimum  patience  from  u.

 Best  Regards

 abhis9,

Really  can't  understand  the  necessity  of  creating  such  immaterial  issues  here  and  douwe  said  nothing  to  feel  offended  by  anyone.  We  just  appreciated  his  alert  presence  of  mind  for  pointing  out  spelling  error  which  again,  was  not  from  your  end.

I  see  no  bossing  attitude  or  no  unfortunate  moment  for  IAH  here.
It  would  be  great  if  instead  of  counting  your  fingers,  you  use  them  to  post  correct  spellings.
Would  strongly  recomment  before  posting,  type  your  post  in  MS-Word  &  have  spellcheck  used  for  ALL  your  words  with  red  underline.

 Hi  Yogesh  ,

Thanks  for  your  advice.  I  know  how  many  fingers  I  have....At  same  point  of  time  I  am  using  MS-Word  long  time  and  I  think  I  know  Spell  Check  option.

But  Spell  check  option  never  corrects  the  Scientific  name  of  a  fish  or  Plant  etc.  If   I  am  wrong  about  mentioning  the  correct  name  of  the  Fishes  (  Like  -  Crocodile  Fish  -  Pleco)  then  expert  guys  like  u  are  there  to  correct  me  and  I  am  always  accepting  that.  I  never  denied  it.  That's  why  people  are  learning  from  this  Forum  and  me  to.

But  for  this  making  fun  is  very  much  unfortunate.

 Regards
