Guys....
I think I am suggesting this yet again in a photo competition, but here goes again...
Keep a generic theme where a person is supposed to put up picture of any fish showcasing a certain aspect...e.g. Breeding mode...So we can show the discus laying eggs, or the aggression of a cichlid protecting his eggs or even a marine fish laying eggs...The possibilities are endless...and definitely more interesting since you never know what someone can come up with.
In a competition like "Planted" or "Shrimps", you know from the outset that the pictures will all planted tanks or all shrimps. Also people like me who have neither of those tanks lose out. Create equal opportunity for all to post and make the competition more interesting. Its a win-win! |
