I  have  some  shots  of  my  old  set  up  to  share.  As  the  name  suggests  the  inspiration  for  this  set  up  came  from  our  ever  beautiful  Western  Ghats  during  the  monsoon.
This  is  going  to  be  a  set  up  journal.  This  scape  was  done  between  September,  2008  and  February,  2009.

Hope  you  guys  like  the  pics.
 Thanks
 Bhushan

 wow!!  such  awesom  colours...

 Bushan,

The  2nd  pic  is  really  intriguing,  for  2  reasons-
How  come  some  plants  are  in  day  and  some  in  night  mode?  Shocked  too  good  timing
Whats  the  green  plant  in  the  front?  HM/green  rotala?  Superb  blend  though.

Hey  and  isnt  there  a  shrimp  in  the  3rd  pic?  Very Happy
BTW  I  will  be  all  glued  to  this  setup  journal.
 Thanks  for  the  starters.  Chuckle

Good  pictures  Bhushan.  Loved  them.  You  are  going  to  start  a  new  clamor  -  "My  plants  aren't  pearling   Sad  "

This  should  inspire  people  to  grow  plants  and  stop  lamenting  about  algae.

Thanks.  Each  plant  species  has  its  own  time  table.  The  plants  in  the  front  is  HM  with  some  stems  of  Rotala  sp.  'Nanjenshan'  mixed.  Yes  it  is  a  baby  red  cherry  shrimp.

Madan,  thanks  a  lot  for  the  compliments.   As  you  said  I  hope  it  inspires  some  people.  It  would  be  great  to  see  more  Indians  in  the  international  aquascaping  contests.
BTW  I  secretly  envy  your  Nikkors.

 Full  tank  shot?

Yes  ,  Danio  margaritatus  and  Microrasbora  erythromicron.  Two  of  my  favorites.
You  will  have  to  wait  for  the  final  shot  as  I  cannot  post  it  till  a  certain   date.(  Rules  I  hate  them.)
But  I  will  document  the  set  up  as  it  reaches  the  final  version.

Yes  Seetharam,  this  aquascape  is  the  one  I  did  before  "Spring  Colors"  in  my  10  G.

 Bhushan,

There  are  a  few  posters  on  IAH  on  whose  thread  I  do  not  post!

For  the  simple  reason  that  they  are  always  superb  and  informative.  I  simply  run  out  of  superlatives.  Very Happy

You  are  one  of  them  Clapping

 Regards,
 Nayak.
