Madan Sir - This is brilliant! Thanks a ton! I read this thread like couple of times to ensure I am not missing out anything. It's really unfortunate that I couldnt make it due to my travel.

It was good to be present at yet another Aquatika. I could say it was the MOTHER OF ALL AQUATIKAs held previously. Amano Sir was sheer poetry. It completely changed the Idea of the PLANTED TANK. I would like to take this opportunity to say a Big THANK YOU to all the IAH fellow members who take care to see that you are at HOME (especially GAYATRI for the great food), Madan, Adip, Beta, Venkat, Nayak, Ranjit .... the list goes on and on. I am cherishing the moment when I joined IAH long back. It has made my LIFE colourful. Sad Aquatika comes only once a year! Deb also agreed and I suggested we should have it in QUARTERS  Missed Trevor & Ravi. Special thanks to Shreyas, the Handsome MC for driving me around, (the more I meet him, the more I love him).

First of all many thanks to Madan and Family in their untiring efforts on organising the memorable Aquatica 2009.  Thanks to Adeep for bringing Mr.Amano over here and to each and every one of the IAHians to co ordinate and making it possible for the event to happen .Lucky were those who were present & had the opportunity to witness one of the greatest demos on Aquascaping in our lifetime. 
Beta gave us a beautiful presentation of the various fishing trips undertaken by many IAHians, Nayak's umpteen forays into Western Ghats and relentless searches which resulted in netting the elusive cichlids.
Congratulations to DJ Rocky,Seetharam and Umesh on thier winning in the Iwagumi contest. 
Umesh I am sure that the lovely momento will be a cherished possession of the Master. 
I am also thankful to Mr.Amano for his autographs( yes two of them). :grin:
Eagerly looking forward to the "Aquatica 2010".

Is seems to be as great an event as I imagined it would be.
My congratulations to all organisers and thanks to Madan & Adip for bringing a person of stature of Mr. Amano to India.
His deft touch in rearranging the rocks in the tank given above is truly outstanding and reflects the ture genius of the person.
The snaps are amazing.
Thanks Madan for the amazing pictures.
Some day I will definitely attend such get togathers.
