 Hi,

Basil  (IAH  ID:  Dochu)  is  from  Trivandrum  and  keeps  a  few  planted  aquariums.  Clicked  some  pics  when  i  visited  him  yesterday.  He  is  really  good  at  DIY  (especially  carpentry),  will  post  pics  of  his  DIY  projects  later.

 Cheers

 Vince

Nice  tanks,  but  I  think  he  should  start  adding  more  rosettes  and  bulbs.

I  really  like  the  fixture  design  and  I  made  a  simplar  one  for  my  friend's  tank,  which  dint  came  out  as  neat  as  that  but  serves  the  purpose  very  well.  And  its  very  cost  effective  too.  Even  I  have  a  plan  to  make  a  similar  one  for  my  present  tank.
Is  that  a  MH  over  2  tanks  in  the  last  picture?

 hi  capri
 its  fairly  simple.
one  cup  sugar  dissolved  in  boiling  water  say  1  3/4  ltr   and  allowed  to  cool,   hydrate  one  tsp  dry  east  in  little  warm  water  and  add  to  the  sugar  mix  at  room  temp.
airline  tube  from  the  bottle  (fixed  on  the  cap  with  silcon  glue  )  is  fed  to  the  intake  of  canister  through  an  air  stone  and  thats  it

 trust  this  help
 kind  regards

 Basil  means  tulsi  right?

The  boy's  name  Basil  \b(a)-sil\  is  pronounced  BAZ-el.  It  is  of  Greek  origin,  and  its  meaning  is  "royal,  kingly".  From  the  Greek  name  Basileios,  derived  from  "basileus",  meaning  "king".  Saint  Basil  (fourth  century)  of  Caesarea  was  called  "the  Great"  and  regarded  as  one  of  the  Fathers  of  the  Eastern  Church.  Also  the  name  of  several  early  saints  martyred  in  the  East.  Brought  to  England  by  the  Crusaders,  having  been  common  in  the  eastern  Mediterranean.  More  often  used  in  Britain  and  Europe  than  in  America.  Also  the  name  of  a  common  herb.  In  Arabic,  the  name  means  "brave".  Basile  is  French;  Basilius  is  German;  Basilio  is  Italian  and  Spanish.
