 Hi  Friends,

Hope  all  is  well  and  great  !

Just  wanted  to  request  for  some  guidance  and  help.  I  want  to  keep  a  few  frogs  in  a  Paludarium  that  I've  setup.  I  live  in  Erode,  Tamil  Nadu.  Will  be  a  great  help  if  you  can  kindly  guide  me  (with  pictures  if  possible)  on  which  frogs  to  look  for  and  where  can  I  find  them  -  I  mean  which  kinds  of  habitats  where  are  the  frogs  can  be  found.

Please  guide  me  and  I'll  start  the  hunt  :)

 Lots  of  Regards  and  Care
 Kush

BEFORE  you  even  think  of  getting  an  amphibian,  figure  out  what  and  how  you're  going  to  feed  it.

 Hi  Friends  !

Thanks  a  lot  for  the  kind  replies  and  for  caring.  Yes,  I've  seen  Hayath's  blog  but  I'm  not  sure  if  he  has  so  many  that  he  can  spare  a  few  for  me...  Anyways,  I  really  dont  want  them  to  be  very  attractive  -  even  the  normal  common  ones  will  do.  Please  guide  me  on  whats  locally  available  (  in  the  wild  )

Regarding  feeding  them,  I've  a  read  and  researched  a  lot  about  them  and  I'm  ready  to  give  them  the  best  care.

 Thanks  again  !
Please  guide  me  on  catching  a  few  frogs.  Friends...
 Regards  and  Care
 Kush

 hi

www.brianstropicals.com  has  a  wealth  of  information  you  would  need  ,  i  have  been  looking  for  options  on  the  same  line  for  quite  some  time  ,  but  in  vain  ,  the  biggest  problem  wouid  be  that  you  need  live  feed  (  flight  less  fruit  fly  )  if  you  can  arrange   this  some  how  you  will  be  able  to  keep  frogs  alive.

in  my  opinion  amphibian  are  more  challenging   to  keep  them  healthy  than  the  fishes  !!!!

challengs  like  ,  hybernation  ,  metamorphic  cycle  ,  moisture  level   is  just  some  of  them  .....

i  would  recommend  that  you  do  proper   study  before  you  get  one

 regards
 Nimal

I  get  to  see  a  few  golden  ones  in  my  farm.  No  idea  what  do  they  eat,  but  see  them  inside  the  unused  pvc  pipes  and  also  sometimes  near  the  roof  structures  high  above.  Climb  walls  with  ease  and  take  looooong  leaps.  Also  lives  one,  with  a  yellow  paint  on  it.  Stupid  thing  probably  didn't  notice  the  painter  working  on  the  wall  corner  and  vice  versa.   Chuckle

Come  catch,  if  you  need  them.  :  )

Also  quite  jumpy  frogs  in  your  farm,  huh!!  Smile
