Wow!  thats  a  cool  update  Thumb Up

Really  loved  the  Tonnia  sp,  but  loved  the  rams  more  :D

Few  anubias+wood  or  few  more  rocks  infront  of  stems  must  help  much  more  as  Hamza  said.  Once  the  plant  behind  the  left  rock  grows,  tank  must  look  a  bit  more  cute.

 Unni  Sir,

The  tank  looks  very  neat.  The  plants  are  thriving  in  your  tank.

How  have  you  managed  to  keep  the  tetras  with  that  beautiful  angel  fish.

Also,  are  you  facing  any  problem  in  feeding  the  tetras?  I  have  exactly  the  same  fish  in  my  two  feet  tank.  I  have  12  X  ray  tetras,  8  Rasboras  and  12  neons.  While  feeding  i  have  observed  that  X  ray  tetras,  because  of  their  fast  swimming  abilities  finish  the  food  in  seconds  and  there  is  hardly  anything  left  for  the  tetras.  Even  the  rasboras  manage  to  get  there  share  but  tetras  realize  the  food  drop  very  late.

CO2  cylinder  ran  out  after  9months  of  24X7  usage.  Didn't  notice  the  bubbles  slowing  down  during  a  hectic  work  week.  As  a  result  BBA  came  back  with  a  vengeance  Sad

Switched  to  Excel  two  days  back.  Now  all  the  BBA  looks  red  Smile

i  love  it  when  someones  kills  that  irritating  algae.  it  was  there  when  i  had  DIY,  it  is  there  when  i  have  pressurized(4  bps  for  65-70  liters  of  water).  it  was  there  when  i  had  no  water  movement,  it  is  there  when  i  have  enough  water  movement.

however  in  my  nano  the  siamese  algae  eater  made  a  short  work  of  them.  the  BBA  was  all  over  the  internal  filter,  rocks,,  on  blyxa  leaves.  now  all  are  sparkling  clean.

 Hi  Unni,

What  is  the  recommended  dose  to  get  rid  of  the  BBA?  The  usual  dose  as  recommended  on  the  bottle?  I  too  have  the  problem  even  with  pressurized  CO2  @  3  bps.

 Regards

I  just  use  it  at  the  recommended  dosage  on  the  bottle.  I  don't  use  it  s  an  anti  algae  agent  primarily,  this  is  just  a  temporary  measure  till  I  get  my  cylinder  refilled.

Mine  is  upside  down,  and  the  atomizer  has  been  removed  recently.  I  have  a  fairly  strong  power  head  driving  it.  So  keeping  it  upside  down  helps  to  prevent  the  CO2  from  being  blown  out  through  the  bottom.

Been  a  long  time  since  I  updated  this  thread.  Work  has  been  pretty  hectic  and  the  tank  has  been  neglected  badly.  Did  a  major  trim  and  replant  last  weekend.  This  is  the  pictures  after  that.  Foreground  has  been  changed  to  Marselia.  Though  it  doesn't  look  as  good  as  Glosso  or  HC  it  suits  my  lazy  style  of  maintenance.  Takes  a  longtime  to  overgrow  itself.  The  stems  are  gradually  being  phased  out
