The  only  thing  that  I  have  seen  this  far  made  of  Stainless  Steel  is  vessles    ROFL
Would  stainless  steel  wire  be  available  in  just  any  hardware  shop  ?
Let  me  know  if  there  is  any  particular  place  where  I  can  get  it  from.

 Regards

 Suby

How  about  using  aquarium  grade  silicone  and  gluing  them  together?

Hi  Rahul,  dont  mean  to  hijack  this  thread  but  thanks  for  the  welcome.  Are  you  talking  about  the  p.  denisonii  thread?  Yeah  I  put  it  there,  most  of  these  guys  here  think  asian  aquarists  are  limited  to  Japan,  Singapore,  Indonesia,  Malaysia,  Israel,  China  and  a  little  sprinkling  of  Thailand.    We  need  to  educate  these  guys  about  the  thriving  scene  in  India,  it  wont  be  long  before  the  big  named  manufacturers  start  to  take  notice  and  then  follow  the  rest  into  opening  subsidiaries  in  India.  Do  you  shutle  regularly  between  Trichy  and  LA?  If  you  do,  please  let  me  know  when  you  go  next,  what  do  you  think  of  the  possibility  of  taking  some  plants  from  here  and  spreading  them  among  Indian  hobbyists?

 Hi  suby

You  can  use  a  silicon  paste  and  struc  it  to  any  rock  or  slate  and  bury  it  in  the  gravel  or  any  decors  in  your  aquarium  and  position  it  as  per  your  desire
 regards
 sam

 Hi  All

26  gauge  staniless  steel  wire  is  pretty  common  in  surgical  stores.  This  is  the  one  they  use  for  wiring  teeth  together  when  people  break  their  jaws.  A  single  roll  has  about  five  meters  and  is  pretty  thin  for  thick  wires  are  difficult  to  work  with  inside  someone  elses  mouth,  and  are  damn  uncomfortable  too.
The  down  side  is  that  stainless  steel  is  shiny  and  attracts  attention  pretty  easily  especially  when  lit  from  just  a  few  inches  above.

Fishing  line  made  of  nylon  is  better  as  it  is  usually  pale  green  or  a  bit  translucent.  Knotting  is  difficult  but  squaring  the  knot  and  tying  about  6-7  throws  pretty  much  guarantees  a  non  slipping  knot.

 Deepesh
