 hi
can  anyone  give  me  the  list  of  carpet  plants  one  can  have  with  low  light  and  non  co2  planted  tank.

I  feel  glosso  need  good  light  and  co2,but  i  am  weak  on  other  carpet  plants

give  my  tank  parameters  so  that  you  can  decide  the  list  better

 Light:  36W  PLL
 Filter:  600ltr/hr  internal  filter
Substrate:  Red  soil  used  in  potted  plants  as  base  and  coarse  construction  sand  as  top  layer

 With  Regards

You  could  make  a  java  moss  carpet  if  you  want.  Most  carpet  plants  are  a  bit  demanding  and  do  best  in  high  tech  setups.  They  might  survive  in  low  tech  but  their  growth  wil  be  painfuly  slow  so  you  wont  get  a  carpet  for  aaages  !!

 Good  one  Doc...   Chuckle

For  me  medium  light  FG  plants  are,
 HC
 Marselia
 E.  Pervula
 E.  Accicularis
 Anubias  Petite

But  all  of  them  will  do  far  better  in  a  high  light  tank.  And  one  more  thing.  CO2  IS  MUST.

I  have  handful  of  Petite  with  me.  Not  exactly  carpet  but  a  handful  of  cuttings.  Will  tell  you  the  local  price  in  PM.  Price  discussion  not  allowed  in  open  forum.  [Very Happy]

@Mudda....I  said  it's  medium  light.  Main  requirement  for  HC  is  cool  water  and  soft  water.  Thats  the  reason  I  failed  to  grow  them.  Mad   Sad
