Mudda,  way  to  go.  The  scape  is  looking  beautiful.  Already  Prem  and  Bappa  da  mentioned  about  the  rock.  And  I  will  add  another  point  to  the  list.  Remove  that  Anubias.  It's  not  fitting  into  the  scape  for  the  big  leaf  size.  You  can  try  little  bit  of  Petite  but  surely  no  big  guys  even  nana.  It  will  kill  the  balance.  And  why  waiting.  Fill  up  the  empty  space  with  HC.  They  will  grow  for  sure.

Hi  Tirtha,  i  am  still  doubtful  about  the  HC  growth  in  my  aquarium  however  once  i  see  some  good  growth  then  i  will  add  more  to  the  slope  as  Bappa  has  suggested.

i  will  remove  anubias  only  after  the  scape  gets  filled  as  i  don't  have  anywhere  to  keep  those  anubias.  i  have  2-3  more  anubias  plus  quite  a  good  amount  of  windelov  fern  and  java  fern  waiting  in  my  angel  tank  without  any  light/CO2  etc.  i  will  accommodate  them  in  the  tank  till  the  grass  fills  up  and  then  I'll  decide  what  to  do  with  those  plants.

Fantastic...  I  like  the  drift  wood  orientation....  you  could  lower  it  a  bit  may  be...how  did  you  manage  the  grass?  did  you  plant  it  or  grew  it  ?

can't  lower  teh  driftwood  this  is  the  lowest  it  can  go.  i  have  definitely  planted  the  hairgrass.  hope  it  grows  like  it  did  in  my  nano.

 Hi  Muddasir,

The  initial  placement  of  rocks  was  the  best.

Try  to  use  the  same  placement  as  this  scape  has  a  very  good  potential.

 All  the  Best!

 Regards,
 Surya

i  will  return  to  the  same  rock  placement  on  Saturday  as  i  will  change  almost  all  the  water  that  day.  but  i  wonder  if  i'll  be  able  to  do  it  without  grinding  and  crushing  the  amazonia  soil.  it  really  is  a  huge  mess  once  water  is  filled.

i  will  first  try  to  change  the  pointed  roch  with  a  much  flatter  and  of  similar  texture  like  the  bigger  rock  and  post  the  pics....keep  checking  please   Smile  and  post  your  suggestion  once  i  do  that.

I  doubt  this  is  HC.  This  could  be  Hemanthius  Micranthemoides  var  leaf.  Unlike  the  usual  HM  which  has  three  leaves  this  one  has  two  leaves.

 Hi  muddasir,

This  is  indeed  HM  and  not  HC.  When  grown  emersed  HC  will  grow  slightly  taller  that  the  ones  that  grom  submersed  and  the  roots  are  prominant.

Will  try  to  post  some  pictures  of  HC  from  emersed  growth  as  I  have  to  dig  for  the  pictures.

 Regards,
 Surya

i  had  some  doubts  about  the  leaf  structure  as  the  ones  in  my  tank  currently  were  different  from  what  i  was  looking  at.  but  i  thought  that  might  be  difference  between  emmersed  and  submerged  forms.

anyways  the  person  whom  i  got  it  from  might  have  got  confused  between  the  names  (as  prem  said  that  this  is  what  is  sold  ad  HC  in  Chennai)and  my  bad  for  not  doing  my  research  properly

kindly  post  the  pics  Surya....it  will  help  me  a  lot

yep  Borneosucker.  i  thought  that  this  is  emersed  growth  so  i  didn't  care  about  the  leaf  size.

another  picture  of  HC  from  web.  how  do  i  differentiate  HC  and  this  particular  HM  in  this  case????

anyways  i  am  back  to  hunting  for  HC.  the  person  who  sold  me  was  great  enough  to  refund  the  price.  Smile
