Nice  photos.  Can  you  mix  cichlids  with  tetras?  I  see  a  serpae  in  there.  Also  are  burundis  "Blue  Morphs"?  I  once  bought  blue  morphs  from  a  local  shop  that  looked  just  like  these.

@chinkz-  was  just  wondering  when  you  would  post  updates  and  I  see  it  Smile  Nice....The  color  combination  is  good  but  is  it  advisable  to  have  Serpaes  with  Fronts?

@iprakash-  Blue  Morph  is  an  Mbuna  and  Frontosa  is  a  Tanganyikan

 Am  I  right?

go  for  a  light  colored  gravel,  normal  sifted  river  sand  would  be  just  great.......they  bring  out  the  white  bars  on  the  fish......take  out  all  the  other  fish,  fronts  look  chunky  though.....all  the  best   Thumb Up

actually  kush  mentioned  in  an  earlier  post  that  the  serpae  tetras  were  supposed  to  be  food  for  the  fronts..  but  eventually  turned  out  to  be  tankmates...

 Nice  burundis  there  kush...

and  we're  still  waiting  for  your  julidochromis  tank  update...

Very  Nice  !!!  You  have  some  rowdie  burundies  in  there   Chuckle.
You  should  add  darker  more  natural  looking  rocks  in  there  instead  of  those  machine  cut  ones  Wink.

Lovely  Fronts,  but  lot  of  scope  for  improvement  in  rocks  and  substrate  parts.

 Hi  Kush,

Very  nice  fronts  you  have  but  they  can  look  much  better.  Dark  substrate  is  dipping  their  beauty  a  bit  though.
For  reference  you  can  have  a  look  at  Trevor  &  Suraj's  fronts  regarding  substrate  &  rocks  colour  combination.
Frontosas  look  awesome  when  white  stripes  show  more  prominent  bright  giving  them  contrasting  pattern  look..

Thanks  a  lot  for  all  the  kind  replies  Friends.  Yes,  I  do  plan  to  work  on  re-doing  the  setup  a  little  but  not  sure  when  I'll  be  able  to  do  it...

Regarding  the  substrate  -  Dark  or  Black  Substrate  is  the  best  (IMHO)  for  the  Burundis,  as  it  brings  out  the  contrast  in  the  patterns.  Having  them  on  a  lighter  /  white  substrate  males  them  look  pale  and  washed  out.  I'll  try  to  find  the  pics  of  these  guys,  when  I  had  them  over  a  light  substrate...

A  lighter  substrate  like  the  white  /  bright  sand  works  best  for  some  of  the  other  variants  like  the  mobas  (again  IMHO)

I'm  constantly  looking  for  some  good  rocks  but  sadly  no  luck  so  far  -  will  keep  looking  though...

Anyways,  thanks  again  for  having  a  look   Thumb Up

Yes  Frank  the  tetras  are  food-turned-tankmates  and  I'm  having  a  tough  time  catching  them  in  the  large  tank...  Thanks  again  !

Yes  Ravi  -  Fronts  are  lazy  hunters  and  are  happy  to  leave  alone  the  smaller  fish  when  Dry  food  is  easily  available...
