I  have  a  green  carpet  anemone  and  it  is  doing  well  for  the  past  4  months.
Though  it  gobled  up  one  of  my  favoutite  Moorish  idol,  I  still  like  it.

Last  week  I  fed  it  with  a  small  piece  of  chicken  (boneless, raw).
I  think  it  really  enjoyed  the  same.  I  could  see  instant  satisfaction  once  it  was  down  in  its  trunk.

Plese  advice  whether  is  it  safe  to  feed  the  anemone  small  raw/  boiled  pieces   of  boneless  chicken  once  a  week?

 Hi  Srinivas,

Its  definitely  not  part  of  their  natural  diet,  So  one  cannot  be  completely  sure.  I  would  suggest  you  rather  give  it  Frozen  Prawns  that  you  would  easily  get  at  any  supermarket  or  Peices  of  dead  fish  would  be  fine  too.

Sorry  about  your  moorish  idol,  however  it  wouldnt  have  survived  long  otherwise  as  well.  They  are  known  not  to  do  too  well  in  aquariums,  very  few  have  had  long  term  success.  Just  like  the  Dr  Wrasse.

 Cheers
