 Dear  Sampath,

Thanks  for  sharing  the  pictures  and  the  specs  of  your  tanks.  The  Cardinal  frys  look  amazing  and  are  really  cute  :)

I  am  in  the  process  of  seting  up  my  marine  tank  and  your  tank  is  surely  an  inspiration.

keep  us  updated  on  the  little  frys  !!!

 Best  Regards,
 Ravi.M

Beautiful  Tank  Sam.  The  cardinal  fry  look  so  cute!  Hats  off  to  your  effort.  Can  you  document  your  experience?  It  will  be  amazing  to  read  it.  bangaiis  are  endangered  and  if  we  can  sustain  a  local  population  it  will  be  really  good  for  the  wild  population.

Thanks  vince..  yep  i  normally  use  to  prefer  lower  power  pump  for  my  chiller..  slower  the  better.  because  the  chiller  storage  capacity  is  less  than  2  liter..  once  the  water  get  in  to  the  chamber  it  gets  out  really  fast  so  cooling  doesn't  happen  that  fast..  And  second  reason  being  they  will  generate  heat..  any  pump  will  increase  your  water  temp  by  At  least  1Deg...   so  no  point  in  hav'g  a  3k  or  4k  pump  for  the  chiller..  slower  the  better..  if  you  ask  me..

Hi  Sampath,  what  i  have  read  in  many  forums  is  that,  if  the  flow  rate  is  low  the  chiller  kicks  in  more  frequent.  The  reason  -  Dues  to  slow  rate,  the  water  does  not  leave  the  heat  exchange  chamber  fast  enough  so  the  sensor  inside  the  chamber  reads  a  low  temp  than  the  tank  temp  and  shuts  down  the  compressor.  When  the  warm  temperature  from  the  tank  replace  the  water  in  the  heat  exchange  chamber  the  compressor  kicks  in.

Yes  heat  is  a  major  issue,  so  how  about  hooking  up  an  external  thermostat  so  that  the  pump  works  only  when  the  chiller  is  working.

 Cheers

 Vince
