You can feed them from everyother day to once a week. But if you want them to do good and spawn, feed them every other day. As for as what to feed, yuu can feed them chopped up shrimp, brine shrimp or mysis even pieces of fish. |

i feed mine small pieces of market prawns every couple of days. and also pellets (which they love) from time to time. |

Yes, some corals do spawn when they are dying, but they also spawn when the conditions are right. You can tell by looking at your coral. |

Legally you are not allowed keep any coral.
Keeping that apart, you can feed it every alternate day. Feed brine shrimp, Planktons and others in the form of Liquid Feeds, that will also benefit other inverts in your tank if you have any. Also you can feed mysis and prawns chopped finely, I like to give it to them in a juice form. Sun corals would spawn in stress, its their way of keeping their species alive. But they would spawn more often when the conditions are right.
