Well  i  would  suggest  you  get  alll  your  equipment  first  and  then  get  the  tank  built.  So  that  you  exactly  have  things  in  order  as  to  which  equipment  is  going  where  and  such  things  dont  happen.

 Well  Nirav
This  is  preparation  for  a  6  footer  tank  which  is  currently  not  with  me.
This  time  I  wanted  to  be  dead  sure  of  things  before  I  construct  the  tank,  Stand,  Hood  etc.
Have  gained  a  lot  through  this  thread,  and  now  imagine  what  a  mess  I  would  have  created  without  help  form  you  people.

I  now  know  where  to  start  from.  Thanks.

 1)  Would  have  the  equipments  (as  per  the  requirement  of  the   tank  size  and  volume  (incl  sump  volume))
 2)  Would  have  the  filteration  systems  (  sump)up  before  the  aquarium  is  done
 3)  Would  design  the  stand  with  reference  to  placing  the  equipments  comfortable  in  the  same.
 4)  Lastly  construct  the  aquarium  and  transfer  the  stock  form  my  existing  one..

Hope  this  is  the  way  to  go...

Have  time  with  me  this  time..  would  go  slow  but  correct  in  each  way...

 Hey  Gulls,
DOnt   mean  to  hijack  your  thread.  I  just  want  to  post  a  couple  pics  for  TusharKanti.

Here  is  the  pic  of  my  external  pump  for  which  you  need  to  drill  a  hole  in  the  side  of  the  sump.

But  if  you  have  an  internal  pump  you  dont  need  to  drill  the  sump.

What  does  "always  deshing  the  sump  mean".

I  didn't  get  that.  Am  trying  desperately  to  keep  up  and  have  understood  till  now.  Some  of  the  words  escape  me.

 Sorry  for  being  a  nuisance.
