Well my aquarium has a light which is nothing but the regular bulb that a fridge has..The LFS in my home town encourages so and says it okay nothing will happen.
Moreover that yellow light did not impress me at all ,so i'm planning on LED based DIY .
After reading some old posts and googling I came to know that LEDS will burn off easily after a few moments and heat sinks and fans are is required. Anyhow
Please assist me in the following
1 LED's -- i think High Intensity will be okay
2 Circuits --i'm no good in electronics How to CONNECT etc etc
3 heat sinks
5 Power Supply -- I do have an 12V adapter
6 Other accessories like wires soldering gun etc etc
7 if i 'm missing any other important things
My aquarium is not more than 8g so it is small and i think LEDs would be perfect specially the blue ones...
