The  tank  will  be  suitable  only  for  a  pair  of  green  terrors  if  you  have  very  good  filtration.  Else  keep  only  one  green  terror.  You  need  to  keep  Frontosa  as  a  colony  and  will  need  a  bigger  tank  to  support  a  cloolny  of  6-8.  The  two  fish  have  different  requirements  when  it  comes  to  water  parameters  and  will  not  be  compatable  with  each  other.

 Hey  AK,

So  is  it  for  your  tank  @  home:?
We  waited  so  long,  so  better  not  make  it  small-kiddo  level.  Very Happy
Lets  make  it  roally  @  5ftX2.5X2ft.  May  be  a  year  more,  but  it  will  come  out  awesome.

For  now  lets  stick  to  GT  or  something  better  for  that  tank  size.

P.S.  GT  are  not  rare  fish,  dont  go  hunting  behind  it  so  much.  Nor  cheap  quality  fronts.
I  know  you  have  read  online,  but  you  still  couldnt  stop  your  heart  from  asking  it  here,  Right?  Chuckle

 Good  luck  macha!  Thumb Up

 AshishK,

 Hi,

I  am  sure  that  you  would  have  read  about  the  different  water  parameters  for  keeping  the  two  different  fish  that  you  are  planning  to  keep.
well  about  Fronts  if  you  are  looking  for  good  quality  ones  then  contact  koolsood  he  has  some  Burundi)
Please  remember  that  Fronts  will  grow  fast  in  the  first  1.5  years  and  then  start  growing  slowly  after  that  and  from  what  I  know  they  will  take  about  2.5  to  3  years  to  grow.

So  if  you  are  the  kind  of  person  who  would  love  to  pull  a  chair  and  sit  in  front  of  the  tank  just  to  watch  your  fish  play  then  fronts  are  the  better  ones.

 I  hope  this  helps.

 Regards,

 Whitesnake

Thanks  a  lot  for  the  reply  guys.

 @  Sai
Yep  atlast  after  4  yrs.  Actually  was  thinking  to  go  for  one  6  footer  but  really  don't  have  that  much  space  in  my  room,  so  opted  for  4  footer.   I  have  two  4  footer,  in  one  i  am  housing  4  green  terror.  I  will  go  for   4  Frontosa  only  tank.  Yep  i  did  read  about  water  parameters,  but  few  years  back  i  saw  one  cichlid  community  tank  in  which  i  saw  GT  with  Frontosa.  So  was  just  curious  nothing  else.  Smile

 @  Clive

So  if  you  are  the  kind  of  person  who  would  love  to  pull  a  chair  and  sit  in  front  of  the  tank  just  to  watch  your  fish  play  then  fronts  are  the  better  ones.
I  have  waited  for  4  years  for  this  tank,  so  its  100%   Frontosa.

 About  quality:
'Beauty  lies  within  the  eyes  of  beholder'   :)

 @All
Thanks  a  lot  for  the  reply.  As  i  have  two  4  footer  in  one  i  will  house  GT  and  Frontosa  in  another.   Thumb Up
