If  the  top  filter  dosent  trickle  down  the  water  into  the  tank  then  go  for  it,  as  it  will  have  more  filter  media.

15"  cube  or  any  sized  tank  you  can  have  it  planted.
The  issue  is  the  fish  you  want  to  keep  will  get  limited-or  none.

Dont  cry  mate,  even  a  well  maintained  15inch  tank  can  bring  down  15ft  to  shame  Thumb Up   Rock On
 All  the  best.
   Thumb Up

Broken  part?  you  can  use  it  on  your  side  panels.

5mm/6mm  both  are  just  1mm  apart,  shouldnt  matter  much  on  that  small  height.  Be  on  safe  side  of  6mm  if  you  dont  have  a  proffessional  guy  doing  it.

1K/4  your  tank  1K/4  your  lights  1K/4  your  hood/stand  rest  of  1K/4  misc.
+  by  ot  hurrying  up,  you  ll  save  a  lot.

Wish  I  had  1K  budget  when  I  started.  Shocked

 Hi,

You  need  to  use  8mm  glass.  This  will  be  safe.  I  used  8mm  glass  for  30x18x15.

I  think  HOB  will  be  good.

 Dear  Mayur,

Just  as  any  new  person(incl  me)  on  this  forum  forgets  to  read  rules  completely,  somewhere  it  says  that  "posting  prices  is  not  entertained."

So  to  get  a  competetive  quote  on  your  stuff  talk  to  your  local  hobbiests/  PM  them.  Move  to  few  diff  shops  before  taking  a  call.

You  could  go  with  12mm  too,  no  harm,  its  just  the  belief  you  would  have  in  the  tank-BUilder.  If  its  build/placed  oddly  its  just  bad  to  break  again.

Simple  words  My  6mm,  2.5/1/1  going  strong  from  years  with  water  in  it,  and  3inches  more  on  height  wouldnt  be  a  big  issue.

 Your  call  now.
