Thanks.  The  same  hood  is  partly  seen  in  the  first  pic  of  this  thread.  For  an  open  top  planted  aquarium  with  MH  lights  the  hood  cannot  get  simpler  than  this.

 Thank  you!
The  stand  structure  is  made  of  saal  wood  and  whatever  you  can  see  on  the  stand  is  teak.  The  hood  is  made  of  centuryply,  covered  by  teak  ply.  Everything  is  covered  by  2  coats  of  PU.

 Antu  thats  a  nice  cabinet.

Could  we  get  more  insight  into  the  design,  maybe  pics  without  the  wooden  stuff,  of  the  framework  or  pics  while  the  stand  was  under  construction.

Trevor,  will  posting  the  design  etc  pics  be  allowed  on  this  thread?  Smile

Hey  Trevor  wow  you  changed  the  subject..  I  think  only  mods  and  admins  can  do  that  right  ?  I  had  tried  updating  the  thread  title  --  but  it  wont  reflect..  anyhow..  now  everyone  can  contribute  to  this  thread  by  putting  their  cabinet  pics..  I  will  do  that  once  mine  is  done  --  hopefully  next  month  :)

If  you  guys  have  any  pics  for  Wall  Aquariums..  please  post  them  here..  I'm  looking  for  some  cool  inspiration

My  carpenter  (  very  good  friend  of  mine)  says  the  same  thing  when  he  visits  my  place.  He  says  the  stand  and  hood  are  far  better  than  what  is  in  between   Chuckle

 Nice  Cabinet  abhi..

I  like  to  see  back  part  of  that  cabinet,  I  feel  back  part  is  opened  and  not  covered.
One  more  thing,  if  its  closed  is  water  get  heated  during  summer  (lack  of  air  circulation)  ?
