keep  the  filter  running  27  X  7.  temperature  fluctuations  an  cause  problems  for  the  fish.  keep  the  heater  switched  on  so  that  the  temperature  is  maintained  at  a  constant  in  the  tank.

tank  in  bedroom=bad  feng  shui   Thumb Down
the  thin  film  formation  could  be  protein  layer.  not  necessarily  hit.

Phew  !  Feng  Shui  reasons  then  its  ok  with  me  Razz  i  thought  something  else  would  happen  like  bad  odour  etc  ..
Not  Sure  about  the  water  temperature  don't  have  a  thermometer  just  a  new  setup,  room  temperature  must  be  around  25-26  when  AC  is  on.

We  fish  keepers  don't  think  more  about  fengshui.  We  always  in  search  of  place  where  a  new  aquarium  can  be  put.  BTW  most  of  us,  start  this  hobby  due  to  fengshui/Vastu  etc.
