I  have  6  large  oranda  golds...they  have  these  white  spot  kind  of  things  on  their  head...its  not  present  anywhere  else  on  the  body...have  increased  the  temp  to  27  (from  24)  and  have  added  malachite  green...also  a  bit  of  salt...anything  else  i  can  do..
The  fish  are  pretty  active  and  showing  no  signs  of  stress  as  such...just  these  spots  were  increasing  from  one  fish  to  another  so  though  of  doing  this...
 Thanks  in  Advance
 Hamza

 Hi
Is  this  growth  on  wen  of  oranda,  does  it  look  fluff  like.  It  might  be  fungus.  In  this  weather  fancy  golfishes  are  suspetible  to  fungus.
In  some  other  forum  I  have  read  that  sometimes  white  fluff  like  substance  come  out  of  wen  of  Oranda  which  is  not  fungus.
Keep  a  close  watch  andn  as  there  are  now  medicines  in  your  tank,  your  biologica  Thumb Up    will  take  a  hit,  keep  a  watch  on  ammonia  &  nitrites.
 Good  Luck

By  the  way  What  is  the  size  of  your  tank?,  six  large  oranda  should  not  be  in  a  atank  less  than  90  gallons  Very Happy

 Hi  Hamza,
This  a  common  problem  in  Goldfishes,Do  not  medicate  the  water  till  you  see  the  white  spots  all  over.Frequent  water  change  and  Salt  addition  will  help.
 with  regards
