 Would  be  great  if  all  arowana  keepers  could  post  details  of  their  setups:
 
 Strain  of  Arowana  you  keep,
 Tank  Setup  [dimensions,  decor,  filtration  &  lighting],
 Feed  [Type  ,  frequency],
 Tankmates,
 Maintenance  regime  [water  changes,  preventive  medication].
 
 This  will  help  all  arowana  lovers  connect  to  their  community!

 Australian  Arowanan  (S.jardini)  close  to  18"  in  a    4  footer  with  5  Eels  (3  G.tile  biggest  being  16"  smallest  13",  1  M.armatus  13",  1  Polypterus  senegalensis  albino  8",  1  Pleco  8".    No  decor  except  PVC  pipes  for  Eels  and  a  sponge  filter.    50%  WC  every  10  days  or  2  weeks.    Primary  diet  being  market  prawns  with  addition  of  pellets,  BHM  and  occationally  tilapias  whenever  available.    Planning  to  move  all  these  to  a  bigger  cement  tank.

 hi  IAHians
 
 my  tank  is  3ftX1.5ftX1.5ft  filled  with  fine  granules  of  sand,  i  have  around  2ft  four  silver  arrowanas  and  one  2ft  black  pearl  arrowana.  Tank  mates  are  one  giant  gaurami  about  1.5ft  in  length.
 it  has  a  sponge  filter  which  gets  cleaned  up  every  week  with  1/4  th  of  water  change.  i  feed  my  arrowanas  with  small  pieces  of  goat  heart.  
 as  a  showpiece  i  have  one  tree  branch  in  the  tank
 
 planning  to  buy  2  more  baby  pearl  arrowanas

 i  have  a  14inch  silver  arowana  kept  in  a  2  ft  *  1.5  ft  *  1.5ft.
 
 I  feed  him  Live  BW  ,  live  fish  and  GOAt  heart.
 
 He  also  likes  market  shrimp.
 
 WC  is  done  every  2  days  50%.

 Strain  of  Arowana  you  keep:  Scleropages  jardini
 Tank  Setup  [dimensions,  decor,  filtration  &  lighting]:  4x2x2,  sand  with  smooth  rocks,  single  Philips  Trulite
 Feed  [Type  ,  frequency]:  Market  prawns  alternate  days  and  live  cockroaches  whenever  I  can  catch  them  Smile
 Tankmates:  Busts  anything  I  add  in.
 Maintenance  regime  [water  changes,  preventive  medication]:  75%  water  change  once  a  month.

 I  have  an  18  inch  silver  arowana(Osteoglossum  bicirrhosum).I  have  it  in  a  tank  measuring  3  ft  by  1.5  ft  by  1.5  ft  as  of  now.
 
 Kept  it  in  a  tank  with  gravel  and  a  few  rocks  originally.Stripped  it  down  to  a  bare  tank  with  just  a  few  pebbles  here  and  there.Filtration  by  an  aquaclear  200  and  an  internal  power  filter  for  a  few  hours  a  day.Using  hitachi  aquarium  tubelight  .
 
 Feed  it  with  pellets.ocassionally  add  a  few  guppies  from  my  breeder  tank  and  live  shrimps  whenever  available.
 
 No  tankmates  as  of  now,but  has  had  plecos,an  oscar  and  clown  loaches  for  a  while.
 
 I  do  40  %  water  changes  every  15  days

 At  present  i  do  not  own  any  arowana.But  i    kept  a  silver  and  then  a    pearl  arowana  in  a  6'  community  with  gravel  and  DIY  filtration.
