I  recently  did  70%  water  change  in  my  20Gal  tank  and  all  of  a  sudden  the  water  has  become  cloudy.
Does  this  mean  any  problem  or  is  there  any  solution  to  cure  it?
 Thank  you.

Could  be  a  bacterial  bloom.  During  the  water  change  was  there  any  major  disturbance  in  substrate  ?

Wait  and  keep  the  filter  on.  It  will  be  cleared.

 Regards

Does  it  have  anything  to  do  with  lighting?

I  do  not  think  there  is  any  relation  with  lighting  unless  it  is  green  water  algae  bloom,  but  I  am  not  sure.

This  is  a  Bacterial  bloom  caused  to  a  possible  break  in  the  "Nitrogen  Cycle"  of  the  tank  due  to  the  heavy  water  change.

Keep  your  filter  running  24x7  (if  you  have  a  Sponge  Filter  it  will  be  very  helpful).  Avoid  huge  water-changes  unless  something  is  wrong  with  your  tank.

It  should  go  away  in  a  few  days.  Your  fish  seem  hardy  enough  to  survive  this.

 Regards,
 Sid

Sponge  Filter  (is  attached  to  an  Air-pump  and  not  to  an  electrical  outlet):  http://www.petwell.com.hk/f901filter.jpg

What  you  have  is  probably  an  Internal/Submersible  filter  like  these  ones:  http://image.made-in-china.com/2f0j00DWTEmuQhztTa/Aquarium-Internal-Filter-BT-200-400-700-1000-.jpg

 Don't  exchange  filters.

The  point  is  that  having  a  regular  (submersible  filter)  and  an  air-pump  driven  sponge  filter  increases  the  amount  of  space  ("media")  available  for  bacteria  colonies  to  grow  and  flourish.

If  you  have  plenty  of  "media",  you  can  go  for  relatively  higher  %  of  water-changes  and  still  not  break  the  nitrogen  cycle  in  your  tank.

Currently,  just  keep  the  submersible  filter  running  24x7  and  eventually  get  another  sponge  filter  for  this  tank  as  well  (they  are  dirt  cheap).

 Hope  this  helps,
 Sid
