Wanted  to  try  it  out  on  my  3ftr  and  make  it  a  Malawi  tank.  But  before  taking  the  plunge,  tried  it  out  on  my  2ftr.

Here  are  some  pics.  Haven't  decided  what  fish  I  will  be  keeping.

 Rocks  laid  out.

Later  the  rocks  were  stuck  to  the  back  of  the  tank  using  black  silicon.

Came  across  this  Anubia  at  an  LFS.  And  just  couldn't  resist  buying.  Any  one  knows  how  to  take  care  of  Anubias?

 Here's  the  end  result.

Planning  of  having  a  HOB  filter  to  the  right.  All  ideas/suggestions  are  welcome.

 Regards,
 Humaid

 Thanks  Lawrence.

Shellies  I  have  no  clue  about  their  requirement.  But  they  are  on  my  wish  list  for  sure.
For  now,  I  might  go  for  some  tiger  barbs  or  P.denisonii.

Can  some  one  suggest  me  a  decent  but  economical  HOB  filter?

Fantastic....very  much  natural  look...u  can  add  on  more  Anubius....They  very  nice  plant  and  very  low  demanding.  You  can  try  to  set  them  with  the  DIY  Rock  Wall  itself.  Looks  vey  beutiful.

Thanks.  Smile  The  thought  was  to  plant  some  java  ferns  and  moss  on  the  rocks.  But  I  have  never  kept  plants,  so  have  no  clue  about  substrate,  dosing,  etc.  Will  add  more  plants  as  the  tank  matures.

Will  check  if  its  available  here  and  if  it  fits  my  budget.  I  still  wish  I  could  keep  denisonii.  May  be  they  will  wait  for  a  bigger  tank.

Thanks  Hamza.  I  have  used  Black  Silicon  to  stick  the  rocks  to  the  rear  glass,  easily  availabe  in  any  hardware  store.  The  rocks  were  flat,  so  were  easy  to  stick.  Just  be  careful  to  use  lots  of  silicone.  And  keep  the  tank  on  its  side  till  the  silicone  cures  completely.

Sure  you  can  try  out  this  idea.  Do  let  me  know  the  source  of  rocks,  cuz  even  I  have  a  3ftr  in  line.
Will  check  with  others  and  try  n  help  you  out.

About  the  Oscars,  they  have  formed  a  pair.  The  Black  male  has  paired  with  an  Albino  female.  They  have  spawned  quite  a  few  times  now.  But  always  eat  up  the  eggs.  Once  they  ate  the  wrigglers,  so  I'm  sure  its  a  pair.  The  pair  is  in  a  3ftr,  and  the  other  lone  one  is  in  another  3  ftr.

 Thanks  man.   Smile

About  being  tedious,  the  sticking  part  was  the  easiest.  The  tough  part  was  to  collect  suitable  rocks,  wash  them,  dry  them  and  arrange  them.  Sticking  part  hardly  too  half  an  hour.  All  was  done  over  a  few  weeks.  I  just  put  few  globs  of  silicone  at  the  back  or  the  rocks  and  placed  them  in  position  and  pressed  them  lightly.  The  tank  was  on  its  side.  About  the  Malawians,  they  will  be  goin  in  a  bigger  tank.
